yes i agree he is a good choice as he is the best LWW right now, i just don't think he had a good chance at all, don't get me wrong i'm not hating in fact I'm one of the few people who pick clottey against pac and even if pac fought bradley and won, i'd still regard his win over clottey higher

pac should fight first the winner of mosley/mayweather then fight bradley then retire. if pac chooses to fight bradley over the winner of mosley/mayweather, critics will criticize pac for ducking any of the two...

If Pacquiao could beat Timothy Bradley, it would be like beating Mayweather. It would be the sort of fight which would in the history of his legacy be a huge victory. Timothy Bradley is as difficult to beat as Floyd Mayweather, and he has no weaknesses. He has a good chin, fast hands, excellent boxing and conditioning, and it's no guarantee that Pacquiao could beat him even if hes at his best.

So if Pacquiao does not get a fight with Mayweather/Mosley this year, Timothy Bradley is the next best thing. Pacquiao at this rate could be a top 10 ATG by the end of this year, if he gets a win over Bradley and Mayweather/Mosley, he will without a doubt be in my top 10.

Mayweather on the other hand would have to beat Mosley and Williams to make my top 10.

Pac should rest and let himself heal for the fight of his career with the PBF-SSM winner. Just relinquish the Ring belt to the JWW up-and-comers who needed the hype that goes along with the belt. He didn't need that anymore.

But if he has to, Tim or Devon is the best opponent. Tim for the bragging rights, Devon for the 2 soup trinkets.

should be a multiple choice poll cause alot of these options are very solid.

Lots of great matchups at 140.. JMM3, Bradley, Valero...how about Pac vs Paul Williams at 147? Is no one interested in that matchup? Hopefully the PI voters reject manny so he can continue his boxing career another 2-3 years.

... if Floyd wins but has other plans, Pac should seriously think about these guys.

    Yuri Foreman (WBA)

    Sergio Martinez (WBC)

    Cory Spinks (IBF)

    Sergei Dzindziruk (WBO)

    I hope he fights Valero.

Last Saturday was the first time Pac defended a title and successfully did it since...his 122 days? Correct? What was that WBC "title" that he defended in his 130 days? That was before the Marquez II fight.

Good move by Pac is true. Kill 4 birds with 1 stone:

    1) Keeps him busy and peaked for winner of PBF/Shane.
    2) Shuts up all the critics if he fights a top black slick fighter in either Alexander or Bradley.
    3) Grabs an ABC belt, for those who dont recognise the lineal & Ring championships.
    4) Finally defends a lineal belt.

IMO Bradley would be a great choice. Considered the best fighter at 140 so another top name to his resume. I cant see anything from Bradley that would trouble Pac, none of them will outbox him, the best they can do is to have a punchers chance, maybe alexander & Valero has that.

bradley would also be a decent tuneup for Floyd.

Just noticed Bradley has an scheduled fight for June though...so thats not gonna work out. Although if given a chance at Pac Im sure Bradley's team will find a way out of that fight.

Elite fighters sometimes have the beating of limited or outclassed fighters in different divisions to them. However, Bradley is pretty bloody good at 140lbs.

I agree, 154lbs would be a belt. But none are really big names. Martinez and Dzindziruk would be dangerous. Spinks, he's already been handled by others. Foreman would be good choice. But, there would be a big size difference and he is undefeated. Is he promoted by Top Rank too?

Valero would be a great one for however long it lasted. That's the one I would like to see. Then Bradley, then Foreman.

I honestly put Tim Bradley #4 P4P , i think he's that good , so a fight with him imo is a great option .

I think Floyds getting KO'd by Mosley anyway so i think its Mosley or Bradley , but if the old fart has his way it will be Valero or Margo in that order , depending on how good Valero looks against Peterson !!!!

Looks like they are going to the Valero way. We might see an upset here, I am afraid.

I am hoping they go for Bradley, just so we can say Pacquaio actually dominate a division.
