Some people on this board who will remain namelss, have suggested that Pac will KO Cotto in 5 rounds or less!? How can this be justified? Are we saying that Pacman hits harder and can withstand more punishment than: Margarito, Clottey or Mosley? Please explain to me how this will occur? Please don't attempt to compare Hatton with Cotto, it's a grave error. Does any real boxing aficionado see the obvious differences in Hatton and Cotto's fighting styles? Ithink this match up is either going the distance or Pac losing by TKO. Any thoughts?

**** me Im not going to touch this one. I was one of the people who thought their was no way pac would ko hatton under 6. I dont care about styles, if you looked at it objectivly, no one thought pac had the power to hurt hatton that bad, and if he has that kind of power, then cotto can get burned too. But im not making any predictions, just not trying to be proved wrong by pac again!!

Everyone is reflecting on Cotto's loss and his "shaky" performance against Clottey.

So this negative light has been placed on Cotto because of it.

Pac on the other had has looked beyond stellar against his last two opponents so it puts Pac in a whole different perspective.

But I think when it comes down to it, Cotto will win. And wont get credit for it until much later when the dust settles.

Actually after viewing the final episode of Pac/Hatton 24/7 and seeing Hatton spar made me believe he wouldnt escape beyond 5. He was getting hit with a jab constantly by HIS SPARRING PARTNER. It definitely didnt look good. I can see why they decided not to show it.

Hatton was also wobbled by Malignaggi. This lead me to believe that Pac will hurt him something awful. Did I predict in 2? **** no. DId I think it would early as ****...yes.

Pacquiao wins this by TKO within 5 rounds.

Cotto can't handle pressure, if you watch his fights any fighter that got aggressive was able to get to him and trouble him. It's all about defense and if your defense is poor against someone like Pacquiao then you're in for a serious beating, add Pacquiao's serious speed and this spells doom for Cotto. Pacquiao will constantly jump in with in and out with punches in combinations, his movement is what will bother Cotto the most as Cotto needs to stand still to throw bombs of his own and Pac won't stand in one place. Pacquiao also throws a lot of body punches, you just don't know what he will target as he punches in combinations, could be a few to the head and body, body only or head only, that will trouble Cotto completely considering how fast these punches are. If people thought Margarito's predictable pathetically slow uppercuts were lethal against Cotto wait till you see Pacquiao's. I could mention stuff all day about this fight, just can't see Cotto winning this at all. If you have decent defense against Pacquiao you're doomed, imagine Cotto's poor defense, that's a birthday cake for Pacquiao. I know all fighters have their flaws but Cotto's flaws here is everything Pacquiao needs in his style of fighting.

Sup Scar, I have seen you posts and all of them is Pac within 5. I have the same prediction. Its going to be hard to hit someone that constantly moves his head, has excellent footwork side to side movement and in and out. Pac punches in weird angles and Cotto wouldnt know how to defend that.

Hey man, hope you're doing well.

Even if Cotto knows how to defend that he won't be able to as the speed is too much, Cotto's defense is poor and against Pacquiao if you have no defense you're knocked the F out before stepping in the ring. What makes it more is Pacquiao's defense is underrated so don't expect Cotto to land much or enough in this one.

Torres almost had Cotto out before 5, he was just a combination away from doing so.

Margarito didnt really begin to accumulate punches on Cotto until the 7th round even then the punches he landed were sporadic and had him out 4 rounds later.

If Roach says Cotto will be out in less than 5 than Cotto will be out in less than 5.

hatton was never wobbled against malinaggi but he did get backed up a few times, much less than when Cotto did.

Ill take Cotto by KO if this fight is at 145! Cotto is an avg size WW and maybe a little bigger than avg but he can punch to the body and if he fights like he did against Shane than he'll win this fight!

I like Cotto alot but I have a bad feeling about this one.

I think Pac's speed, power, and pressure will be pure hell for Cotto.

If this fight was at 147 where it should be in the first place then it's a more even fight. But two pounds IS a big difference for Cotto who is a stout WW.

At 145 I wouldn't be surprised if Pac stops him late in the fight. And that will look very bad for Cotto as he would lose to a natural SFW, albeit the P4P best.

But I really hope i'm wrong.
