This dont mean nothing, ok less say u get 2-3k calls in a day ordering the fight would seem alot if u got a small office taking PPV orders? but in reality doesn't make it a huge event on a national scale in the UK it might do about 30k orders max.
30,000 would be good, the show starts at 2an and the fight will be at 5am. It takes a hardcore fan to stay up to watch that.
Guys! DOn't shoot the messenger. I'm just sayin what she said. She said it wasn't as busy as this for the Ortiz/Mayweather fight either. Call her and ask her if you don't believe me. Although don't be suprised if it takes you a few attepts to get through, as there really busy down there at prime time. THey've had to hire a couple of extra employees on temp basis to handle all the calls getting in.
no no idea. when she said they were really busy, i asked if there were many philipino's phoneing in. And she said she thought he was Mexican due to all the Mexicans ordering the event. I don't know how she knew that. She was very chatty, she probably just asked them. Give her a call, she was a lovely lady
This story seems fake as hell. Not saying you didn't call but you do know primetime more than likely has a small office team to handle calls. lol So she saying a lot of people calling up is as oppose to what exactly? Her normal uneventful day in the office lol So say 500 people called up to day, for a call team of say 3-5 people, if that, that would be considered a lot, yet you are somehow suggesting that 100,000 of people calling up LMAO This ppv won't even do 20,000 in the UK
Mayweather-Ortiz was on prime time, it reportedly did over 40,000, Pacquiao-Bradley will have the same figures.
I did call her. Primetime do other events too like MMA. and Strikeforce. I did try to nail her down to some specific figures so I could troll about it on here. I said how many PPV sales does she expect. And she said, I don't know but it will be alot
