Pac v JMM II - re-watched & re-scored

Having recently re-watched it myself I had Marquez winning by 2 points also. I am a pac fan and it was a close fight but I had Marquez winning. Style wise I tend to prefer good technicians over simple aggression and power so maybe this is why I scored Marquez the winner and why some others have Pac winning.

 

I concur w/ you. I scored the same way. It was the KD that tilted the odds in Pac's favor.
Marquez didn't do enough to win the fight.

 

The Pac fans always calls it crying, but the reality is that the Pac fan does'nt like it when facts are pointed out.
My post is full of facts, yet you call it crying!

It is crying when you cannot accept the decision of the judges. They are the final arbiter. They watched it live, a few feet away. Did you? They knew who delivered the solid punches or not. If you didn't and watched only on tv, how can you say you are telling the facts?

Listen my friend, I've been watching boxing for 28 years. Anyone that has been a fan as long as I have, know that boxing is corrupted to its core.

I've been a fan too long, that I know not to take the judges verdict at face value.

Boxing is so corrupt, that you're actually suprised when they actually do get it right.
I find myself looking at results of fights on boxing websites of fights I did'nt see, like the Ruiz-Valuev fight that happened a few weeks ago....looking at the judges scores, and coming to the conclusion that Ruiz was likely robbed in that fight.
.....thats how pessimistic of the honesty of boxing judges through seeing their scorecard results over the years has resulted with boxing fans such as myself who have been fans for decades.

So no my friend, I dont take judges official cards at face value.
I judge a fight for myself, thankyou!:deal

That's what I call crying again. If the judges in the JMM-Pac II were corrupt and if there was something wrong w/ their decision, why was there no investigation conducted. Let alone, a complaint filed in international boxing bodies? Get over it, your boy lost in a close decision. It could go either way but the two judges saw the winner in Pac by virtue of the KD he dealt on your boy.

You've been watching boxing for 28 years. So what? How can we expect from you an objective judgment when you call a close fight robbery or something to that effect.

Move on, boy. Quit crying!

Are you saying that all boxing judges in general are corrupt and all their decisions especially if it is not to your liking should not be accepted. So what is the need for judges for? Or, are you proposing polls as another way of determining the winner of a boxing match?

I'm not telling you not to accept it.
I'm saying I have a brain and two eyes to which to watch a boxing contest and make up my own mind who won.

If you want to accept every verdict rendered by a judge as honest, thats up to you. I have a brain to which to disern whats right and honest, and whats not!

I score fights for myself and I decide who the winner is.
More boxing fans should do the same!

 

I scored the fight for myself many times and ignored the judges decisions(and turned off the volume so as to not be swayed by the commentators) and every single time I watched it, I had one single winner in all of those. That is Manny Pacquiao 114-113. The KD really was the determining factor, otherwise it would've been a draw.

It was one of the closest fights anyone can score though. So Marquez winning is not a problem for me.
