give it up divac, pac won SD. you are the only one who scored this fight way too lopsided for JMM that it questions your biasness when it comes to scoring jmm's fight.
2 out of 3 people that actually matter (Duane Ford, Jerry Roth & Tom Miller) scored this fight in favor of Manny Pacquiao. Last I checked PacDBest, Scar, AmbitionDef, r_9-Ronaldo and myself didn't have a say in who wins a fight.
Since Roth had JMM winning , this evens out one of the judges. So when you think about it, this basically comes down to the opinion of one guy(the remaining judge)! Pac was indeed lucky that coin flipped in his favor but had it been the other way, we would still be hearing the whinnying from the other side. It's time to bury this topic!
Heres a problem with your analysis. There is no way JMM won that first round. You based it on 1 "solid" right hand. Its your analysis but its not an objective one. How about posting the first round here so we can all watch it and count how many punches landed.. And BTW PAC punches harder than JMM but I wouldnt even use that argument as to whos punch are more effective
As I have said, you can show us a thousand polls in the internet, but that won't change the decision of the two judges who saw Pac won. These judges are more credible that lounge spectators who watched the fight in their tv set. 2 judges against 1. Are you saying the two judges conspired to make Pac won? Then, why were there no protests nor investigation to prove that the fight was fixed and as you said there was robbery. Let me ask you again, where did you watch the fight? In your home? Or, in Mandalay Bay Hotel? These judges were there at arm's length to see who was delivering the solid blows. The judges saw for themselves who got knocked down and who held the ropes for dear life. They also saw who got dazed and who followed who to his corner. These were caught in TV but these judges were there physically to give appreciation on who won the fight. Move on now, Divac. No whining in this forum can change the L of Marquez in the record book. :rofl We will always remind you that Pac fans have the bragging rights until your boy loses his love for mopping the floor. :hi:
And for those dumb and stupid people out there who thinks that the reaction right after a fight is the best way to guage peoples opinions..heres an advice for you.. GET YOUR ****ING HEADS OUT YOUR ASSES!!! Forget boxing..life in general..you need time to reflect and get your emotions calmed and then you make a RATIONAL decision...And after a few months ..most people will admit that in hindsight..this fight was too close to call...MOVE ON!
HERE IT IS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wjo_ZgvMIgU Some gifs of round 1: You have to take audio into account on this one. This content is protected Another point. This content is protected Another point. This content is protected Another point. This content is protected Again take into account the audio doesn't look much, but sounds solid. This content is protected Another point. This content is protected Another point, although JMM looks like he connected at the end, it hit Pac's arm. This content is protected Here clearly the best punch of the round. This content is protected Body shot? This content is protected Either way shows the fight is close.
thanks for that..I dont even know who you are but heres the ****in videos...and for those people who comes posting with a veil of objectivity regarding this fight..again heres a lesson... START WITH STATING THAT PAC WON RD. 1 and I may just listen to you
There is something missing about this fight compared when watching it live at the arena to watching it on tv. a good majority of the people who were there said they believed Pacquaio won, the 1st round was a good indicator of that especially since all 3 judges had Pacman winning it, there wasnt any good tv shots of Pacman's clean hits but the camera was there perfectly for JMM's one right hand and body shot.
This is very true. Most people after fights USUALLY are very emotional towards it thus the possibility of them not thinking as rational as they could be is high. That's why there such a thing as a KNEE-JERK reaction after fights. Everybody is angry, dissapointed, happy, etc. after fights that its hard to gauge whether they are really genuine in what they say or whether they are fueled purely by emotions that usually build up after fights. I honestly think that the polls done recently are more reliable than the polls done right after the fight. Months after the fight, people have basically calmed down and pretty much cleared their head. So in turn they are more capable of judging a fight that happened a while back. Especially if its a fight that is posted in sites like Youtube for everyone to see over and over again.
Very nice Pirate Gorilla. That is as clear as day about round 1. Pac was busier and hit JMM with MORE shots compared to JMM's one. :deal
I think the first round comes down to quantity vs quality. I went with quality and therefore gave the round to Marquez. Marquez won clearly in my opinion.
