It was a feelout round without any significant punches landed by either.....even the video clips posted on this thread by a Pac fan show that JMM is riding with the shots that Pac fans say Pac connected.
Marquez is riding and rolling with the shots.

I usually score such feelout rounds even, but when one fighter scores a telling shot like JMM did, there is not choice but to give the round to JMM.

Soriano's opinion that judges are always right is a complete joke.
If you ask yourself how the judges would have scored if the roles were reversed in that 1st round and JMM landed the shots Pac did and Pac landed the shots that JMM did......there's not doubt that Pac would have gotten that round unanimously by every judge and guess what......every ******* in this forum!

A feelout round that has one very telling blow connected? Round to the fighter that connected it!!!!

from the gifs, it is clear that pac won round 1 due to activity, agression and punches landed. all the judges, including the one who scored the fight for jmm, all gave round 1 to pac.

    From Divac, JMM's *****.

But you did agree on the 10-7 score in the 1st round of PAC-JMM I? Double standards

Divac, two judges for Pac, one judge for Marquez? Who do you think is wrong? 4 eyes vs. 2 eyes? Like the 1st round..... all the 3 judges called it Pac's win. Who should we believe? The 3 judges who were in Mandalay Bay or you who watched it on TV?:D

Is it the judges' verdict which is alredy a fact or your opinion? :D:lol::hi:

6 eyes had Chris Byrd over Fres Oquendo, but I have yet to see a single person who's job it is to write boxing agree with that joke of a decision.
Byrd officially won that fight by wide scores, yet, every boxing observer that I read had Oquendo up and big in that joke of a decision.

I could go on and on, but its just not necessary.

The first round was JMM feeling out more of Pacs punches then Pac was to JMM, 1st round was obviously a Pac round.

Wow! Quality of punches to win. Nice argument, reed_man. Ergo, since almost everybody agrees except Divac, that this is a close fight, Pac won because he scored a knock down and a near knock down. Those were quality shots, aren't they?
