I think it was brother naz richardson who said the best thing pac and roach have done is convince the world pac is tiny and still a 112lb's. This has been used to his advantage. However has the boxing world and pac now been convinced that all marg's wins and power came due to illegal wraps? This could be the case or pac could be taking the once most avoided man in boxing too lightly.

Magarito was never avoided. That's just "arum speak" for a guy who just can't sell a fight.

Saying Margarito was avoided is like saying Tim Bradley is avoided. Is it because of his skills? Or just that no real money fighter is going to waste 3 months on a guy who's still to really step up to the elite level.......

Guys like Mayweather and Manny would have fought guys like Margarito and Bradley in the mid points of their careers. They both took on guys like that.

The game changes, when you're at the end part of your career, and heading to the Hall of Fame. You're not wasting your time on the type of guys you spent your first 30 fights beating up.

As for the fight, I think Margarito probably got the fight, as Team Pac were 500% convinced they'd destroy him.

Whatever they claim, Marquez, Bradley, Williams, Martinez, all make more money than this fight. Marquez maybe twice as much.

Margarito is a sucker for speed. He's very slow, and has no defence. Mosely destroyed the guy.

He won't win a round with Pacquiao

What are your reason/s to come up with Pac taking Marg too lightly?

Hard to say if Margarito got beaten to an old fighter by Shane or if he can get into Cotto-form, but if he can, Pac's got his hands full. Top Rank probably figure Margo is a good in-house name to sell and not very dangerous, but even if their calculations go wrong they still get all the promotional income, so it can't possibly be costly.

I agree with you. I don't understand why pac doesn't insist on a jmm fight. pac is likely to beat him, he would get more credit for beating him and pac would make more money. Arum would not make as much but why would pac care about that? Arum works for pac not the other way around. pac should not have taken the fight with the cheater.

Would emmanuel really pick to fight someone who could potentially **** him up when a fight with $ is down the horizon next year?

I agree, But at the same time Arum is covered either way.
    Considering Pac's future is always a? .

A Margarito win is just as valuable to Bob's pockets in the long run.
