I just watched pac v. marg the 2nd time. I thought the exchanges in Rd 8 were pretty brutal. I really wonder how the little guy pac could have survived tony's tremendous pressure in that round.:think

That's why he cancelled his concert and went to the hospital post fight.

I think Pac just pretended that it didn't hurt.

That fight was actually his toughest since moving up and proved his limits, him needing to go to the hospital with messed up ribs proves this. For all we know this fight has taken a lot out of him, we will see may 7

Pac was pissing blood. Pretty sure he was in pain. The 8th round was brutal but Marg caught Pac in the 6th.

reports were he did get busted up pretty good and sufferred debilitating hand, wrist and rib injuries. apparently he couldn't sign autographs post fight, and jinkee had to assist him walking during a thanksgiving mass his ribs/hip area was so sore after the fight. there were also reports he had a kidney injury and was pissing blood and that doctors were called the next day to his home when he was in tremendous pain and he was forced to lie in the fetal position for 36 hours

just imagine getting hammered to the body by a guy 20lbs bigger then you. That's why we have weight classes in boxing.

And they say Pac is cherry-picking easy fights.

Some of those exchanges were just plain brutal. Pac just sitting on the ropes in round 8 and not really blocking and slipping all the shots. He could have elected to dance around with his fast feet but he chose to stand and bang. I bet margo was thinking WTF, this guy really likes to fight.

For pac to get busted up so badly is down to his own lack of skill set to avoid punches, i'm tired of the notion that oh he only get's hit because he wants to please the fans and make it an entertaining fight. This is bull****, pac only knows how to fight one way, and that is come forward and attack. And guess what he is pretty good at it.

Also its a myth that he didnt stop cotto and margarito out of compassion. He actually couldnt. Though i believed i pacquiao purely elected to use lateral movement and throw single shots he would be hit far less. Thats not in his nature though. Neither does he have the reflexes of slicksters like mayweather.
