Pac v Margo: 24/7

That will happen. Clottey has less of a name than margariTOE, and they gave him one. Something short like a countdown would be perfect for the fans to see margariTOE explaining his whole plaster situation. A 24/7 would be too much, who needs 4 episodes of that trash?

 

the countdown was actually done quite well I enjoyed it while the 24/7s are about how much they run their mouths, kinda annoying at times. emmy award winning I ****ing doubt it.

 

If they did a 24/7, they'll have to do a hell of a lot of throwing Capetillo under the bus action. I doubt people who have tracked the handwrap scandal will be able to see Margarito in a sympathetic light, no matter how much they try and pin it on his trainer during the series. Maybe try and say he wants to redeem himself and show that he did everything without plaster assistance but they'll have to really plan out how they'll do that.

Well Margo has never been on 24/7 before. Cant imagine it would hurt too much to put him on it, make him out to be the big bad guy and create some sort of storyline angle from it. Pac is viewed as the little hero at this point.

 

A half a hour countdown will do

With or without the 24/7/countdown this would be a sick fight

 

The fight itself is a very good one, it won't be anything less than entertaining. The only thing that's preventing this from being given a 24/7, is the credibility of Margarito. An exposed cheat that has destroyed the career of a great fighter with bricks, really doesn't deserve the exposure/sympathy he'll likely achieve on a show like this. Not to mention, there's a strong chance that Vegas will refuse to host this, and it may end up not even taking place in the US. Will HBO bother invest so much in an event that'll end up taking place in Mexico?

Doubt it.

The most they'll do is a 30 minute countdown (Clottey style), and of course broadcast the fight.

It would be nice for HBO to develop a new show/idea to help promote the fight.

 

what more can be said about pac as he's already been in like 4 series of 24/7?
I think they'll save it for floyd/pac,should that be his next fight or there may just be one episode like the clottey/pac series

 

they should do something like the UFC does, show all the main fighters on the card...that'll get more people interested in the actual card and not just the main event.......

jacobs, linares, and guerrero are the type of fighters that can benefit from things like that....

 

Whether they do a 24/7 series, or a countdown for the fight...it is going to revolve around the same subject, Margarito and the wraps.

 

The sport will never grow or flourish again without casual fans bro.
