Pac v Margo: 24/7

It got alot more fans to buy the fight, it reminded alot of people that boxing still exists and introduced (re-introduced) Jones and Calzaghe to alot of people.

This is what you don't ****ing understand and what is the single most important thing that is killing boxing! There is no way for non-fans to become fans of boxing, or if there is, there is no easy way. Football/baseball/basketball all have franchises getting thrown in people's faces (People in NY will watch the Giants or Jets, but most wont just watch any given football game), they have a local team to stand behind. The UFC has the UFC name to attract people, the majority of fans don't stand by one specific fighter, they just are fans of the UFC in general. Everyone knows about the UFC because it is all over the place, and on spike tv 24/7.

Boxing? What does boxing have? It has it's best fighters fight twice a year, for $50 and then disappear from the public until their next fight. :good Awesome!!! If I'm not a boxing fan, but am intrigued by it, how am I supposed to get involved? Shell out $50 for every PPV and then decide what fighters I like? At least 24/7 introduces fighters to the general public, people grow a liking or disliking BEFORE being asked to pay $50 for somebody they know nothing about. 24/7 IS the best thing to happen to boxing in our lifetime, and we need more of it!

There will be some kind of count down or 24/7. Margo needs to improve his image and account again for the hand wrapping scandal. Pac needs to express himself about the drug test. Arum needs to clean PR his two boxers.

im expecting a 24/7 for this,it may only be a 3 parter like calzaghe-rjj though.if theres no 24/7 there will at least be a 2 part countdown.

 

Hope they do a countdown. Who really needs to see 3-5 episodes of margariTOE explaining his bull**** about his innocence for 30 mins each time?
