Pac v Mayweather aint gonna happen, the Pretty boy will ask for too big a slice of the purse knowing Manny aint gonna give him it, and then say "I offered him the fight but he want it!" or someshite like that. If he really wants the fight, and aint full of **** and hot air he will take a 50-50 split since Manny is THEE MAN at the moment, so man up or shut the ****up Floyd.:smoke

wrong..this fight WILL happen...put the farm on it

there is not a hope in hell that mayweather would tarnish his legacy with "but he ducked manny pacquaio"...not a hope...
mayweather needs the fight a hell of a lot more than manny...

and i think he beats manny....much as i love manny...based on styles mayweather wins...i think..
unless, manny can wait for mayweather to come in and counter all night...if manny goes chasing floyd he's fooked.
    i think.

I dont think it will happen bud, Manny is a hard fight for Floyd, he doesnt take many risks that guy. Can see Manny giving him lots of problems. The way to beat Floyd is barrowloads of sharp punches, single shot just dont work, so Manny would have a good chance. Would love Manny to beat the fool

****s sake Doug.ie I can't believe you indulged this thread.

Everyone knows it was ARUM who said Floyd wouldn't get 50/50 so how that translates into Floyd pulling excuses is beyond me. Floyd came out of retirement for this. And he'll beat him soundly

Are we going to have that absurd percentage game like with Hatton-Pac when the forum was full of financial experts squabbling over 1 or 2 percentage points?

remember that he owes the tax man a bit and it would probably take him 3 fights to earn what 50% vs Manny would be.

    I hope not.

Winner should take 55%, loser 45% or something like that.

It'll never happen in the sport at the top level again. But given both men are so are convinced they'll win and both trainers are convinced they have the best fighter and right strategy to beat the other man and given both men are multi millionaires, wouldn't it be special to a winner takes all contract.

If the fight doesn't happen I'll blame Floyd. Before you accuse me of being a Floyd hater look at how many divisions Pacman has jumped in a relatively short space of time to make this fight happen, he's been chasing it.

Hasn't Mayweather already come out and said if he walks away with $40mill he's not a loser. This suggests to me he's going to take the fight regardless of whether he believes he can win or not.

I think the best solution is what freddy roach suggested, 50/50 or winner takes all. Either way, if it happens, manny would beat floyd i think. Manny would have floyd on the back foot all night and floyd despite being the best counter puncher in the world atm, isnt strong enough to hurt manny, neither is he as quick as him. Mayweather cant hurt pacquiao, but pac can sure hurt him. I really cannot see floyd winning this, pac is just something extraordinary.

Soak it all up guys cause manny is something special which we wont see again in our lifetimes, he will be spoken about in the boxing world in 100 yrs time along with the likes of ali, SRL, and tyson as the all time greats

What have you seen in the past that gives you the confidence in saying Pacquiao can hurt Mayweather? :think

looking at saturdays fight, the angles at which pac was hitting cotto was unreal, floyd has a masterful defence and i do like floyd, hes the best defensive boxer on the planet, but if manny lands he will hurt floyd. And manny will land over 12 rds. Are you honestly suggesting you dont think mannys shots will hurt floyd?
