I never said that, its just I have never seen Mayweather in any kind of trouble in the past and he is one of the best defensive boxers of all time - Pacquiao will have to do something special to really hurt Mayweather, because he isn't just going to open up like Cotto was doing and when Cotto was boxing behind the jab Pacquiao wasn't hitting him that much at all. Still I hope he does hurt him :yep:good

Get real. Saying that, it was reassuring to Manny take a couple of shots from Cotto without difficulty, that was reassuring to me.

 

Pac V Manny WILL happen.

It's the biggest fight either of them can make, a $50M purse at least. Put yourself in Mayweathers shoes do you want 45% of $50M or 75% of $10M? it's a no-brainer.

Concessions will be made on both sides and the fight will happen.

I think "won't happen", or "may not happen" would be a better way of putting it. "Can't happen" is just bollocks, of course it can happen, its the biggest fight out there for both boxers.

 

why is everyone making out that mayweather is going to be the issue in negotiations. ask de la hoya, hatton and marquez who it was easiar to do a deal with, Mayweather or Arum/Manny

His fight with Oscar did over a million more buys than Pac v Oscar, him v Hatton did more than Pac v Hatton, and him v Marquez absolutely mauled Pac v Marquez 2. He rightly aint gonna settle for less than 50% and will end up with a bit more imo, his numbers support it whatever you think of him.

 

The marquez fight did bigger numbers than Hatton

 

Mayweather retired because there we no big money fights left for him. He came back for one reason only............Pacquiao
