That is true Kevin kelley but he always had the power and could pull out a KO from any angle, so it would have been a great fight. It could have even happened at bantemweight as naz started his career their.
my thoughts on it were a page back. i just think that puncher vs. puncher, the more effective puncher wins. pac's straighter punches, beats hamed's looping punches. he also does'nt have single bombs, but throws in volume. not to mention these are thrown really fast. it's too difficult to time a guy like that. even a master like marquez needed to adjust. will hamed be able to? as he showed in his career i would'nt bet my money on it. imo pac overwhelms hamed. i've read some post say, "you dont stand in front of hamed". well you also dont stand in front of pac and expect to come out standing. pac is also probably one of the best finishers today, if he's got you down he'll make sure you stay down (JMM is the man for being the only one to prove this statement wrong) it really comes down to who is the more effective puncher, and in this regard pac has this in spades.
So being knocked out by bums at lighter weights doesn't make you think that if naz hits him with some bombs he might have some trouble.
agreed, it's 50-50 at best. but my analysis on it says that, in a puncher vs. puncher scenario, it's usually the most effective puncher who wins.
Fair enough but at his pomp naz could throw a single shot which would hurt anybody just have stevie robinson who had not been knocked out before he faced naz.
of course like all fighters, pacquiao certainly can be KO'ed. i'm not saying he's god like the hardcore nuthuggers here. but i think he gets to hamed first, before hamed gets to him.
Robinson was tough and done well to achieve what he did as a pro but I dont think this is the fight to judge Naz's power at the top level, although I agree hit like a powerful middleweight, he was a few levels above Robinson who was literally a lamb to the slaughter that night.
I agree that pac man is a better fighter and alot more skilled but i think naz has the chin and the power to beat him, naz wasn't really hurt in any of the fights he was knocked down in it was always a balnce thing with him leaping in. Pacman on the other hand has been koed by much lighter punchers than naz and his trading style leads me to think he would eat a couple of bombs from naz and would be out.
Spot on but u know what I mean. This was a tough test for naz and some people thought he'd been protected up until that point.
