If you don't think Hamed caught Barrera with any clean power shots then you maybe need to watch the fight again. One thing which Hamed took for granted...........show up, hit Barrera on the chin to knock him out, then go home. No plan B. Not just that, but Barrera tricked him as you well know. He stood off and countered Hamed silly all night, with the ocassional heavy weaponry thrown in for good measure.

I like everyone else expected Barrera to rush Hamed, not stand off and box. My official prediction at the time was Barrera to KO Hamed around the 6th round.

Everyone who picked Hamed, and I have no doubt the people around him believed this as well. If Junior Jones could KO Barrera at the weight below then surely the harder punching Hamed could as well.

Some people forgot this, and I'm glad I never. Barrera took Morales' bombs all night long when they fought at super-bantamweight without going down. Different weight, different fighter, but it showed me something which I liked when going into the Hamed fight. I just had the gut feeling that Barrera could withstand Hamed's shots, and he did just that.

During some of the middle rounds, Hamed did catch Barrera with clean power shots, some discouraged him, some never. There was a point when Barrera took flush shots and even knocked his gloves together as if to say to Hamed "c'mon lets have it".

Just saw the fight yesterday. He didn't catch him flush. Barrera got hit surely, but not the bombs Hamed had caught others with. Barrera rolled much better as well. He was much smarter than that....

and he avenges his losses and solidifies his questionable wins. Heart is the big difference here..

Pacquaio has only avenged one of his three losses.

Not sure what you call flush. But I would call it when power punches land cleanly with the knuckle part of the glove, and obviously devastating consequences are more likely to occur when power shots land around the temple and chin. Hamed caught Barrera those kind of punches, no question IMO.

Barrera got hit with the same bombs Hamed caught others with, but went nowhere. And previously I did give Hamed a little credit as his punches showed Barrera's faced etched with concern. But no quite enough to to KO or floor Barrera when combining his power and Barrera's beard quality. On the night anyway.

Make no mistake - Naz DID catch MAB with a solid punch which caused MAB's nose to bleed.

So where was the 1 punch KO?

Then you need to watch the fight again, because you missed it. The punch that Naz caught MAB with (that caused MAB's nose to bleed) was flush and was absorbed fully by MAB without rolling.
