Awesome choice although i think it's a blow out for PAC. But no one can say Ed V. isn't in his PRIME! But like anyone on top there will be critics stating Ed isn't proven enough or he's over rated ect. ect. ect. Just like if PAC actually did fight Ricky and won....same excuses would have been on BLAST! It's a good fight and going that route PAC will have an reason to dismiss claims of "GREED". But by taking short money for this fight doesn't erase how he went about the Hatton/PAC negotiations....over all that was just a very bad look for PAC.

Thats probaly what PAC wants to do anyway.....HONESTELY....the Hatton/PAC fight wasn't about MONEY IMO....Yes he acted with his EGO and GREEDY in that regard...but for PAC it was more about "LOOKING THE PART". Meaning he wanted to be the one who called the shots...got his way and played the part as KING! Pretty egotistical but it seems like thats exactly what he is doing.

Pretty bad fail if Hatton ends up fighting Marquez in front of 70000 fans for topside of 20 million dollars and Pacquiao ends up fighting Valero for $3.75 and a bag of rice.

I agree....it will be just what happened to JMM when he decided to take the less risky road in entering into an immediate rematch with PAC 4 yrs ago and then fighting for the same $3.75 and bag of rice in Chris Johns back yard in Indonesia. "IRONY"! :-(

No he's not! #1.....valero isn't a natrual 140 lbs fighter...#2..he's a fighter who is USE to going at most 3 rounds. The level of disparity in terms of talent...Skills, SPeed, and experince warps Valero on those categories....At least Ricky has size and strenghth on his side. We don't know how Velero's power transelates up at WW.

    It sucks.

He should fight Marquez again, or Mayweather.

Both great fights that I'd love to see. Mayweather more so b/c it would be a harder challenge....which is why I wanted to see PAC fight Hatton....for the challenge.
