Now that was a very odd fight...That is a fight that pac should have lost...There was only alittle home town cooking there:hey

Like I said you stupid...You dont have to believe what I say about Pac vs Sanchez..They already fought dumbass...And as I said Sanchez was slapping Pac around that night, The fight was a draw with several points being taken away from Sanchez...It has nothing to do with my opinion moron its facts, it happened...However Pac dick riders like yourself love to make like **** didnt happen..Like Pac being knocked out twice or taking an 8 count form a ****ing Jab, and being on the plus side of more then a couple of dec, that he likely should have lost.
puhahhah i just love it when u change the subject just because u have no good argument. What hair, peasant boy? Go spit shine your banana boat and block all the holes before going on your spring journey.. " C'mon Tambayan, DOmngo, Borj, Scatterbrain, get on the boat " !!
Pac is a far better fighter now. Bringing up any old Pacquiao fight is prett redundant as it is not relevant to how he fights today. Back then he constantly looked for the KO, threw the same punches and was easy to hit.
Well until they start awarding points for Low blows, take downs head butts and laces scraping, I will keep saying that Sanchez was slapp'n pac around that night..You just make my arguement even stronger...The fact that Sanchez actaully lost points for the things that you are complaining about and still was able to get a draw should tell people that he was doing very well in that fight.:good
Funny thing about this, r, after the Sanchez fight, i sat with Manny and Penelosa in a tiny motel room next to the Wild Card Gym and asked Pac why he didn't retaliate to Sanchez's flagrant fouls, even though Freddie Roach urged him to get payback. "I'm a sportsman " was his simple reply.
I remember this fight. They showed it live on Philippine TV. There was a live pre-fight panel discussion in the TV studio, they were local boxing experts and sportswriters. Some of them were discussing how rough and rugged Sanchez will be, and how tough and experienced this stocky Latino dude is. I even remember there was a live interactive question and answer portion thru text messaging, where viewers can have their say about the coming fight, or ask questions. Yeah, as early as 2001, we were text messaging like crazy. On our NOKIA 5110's and the brand new 3210 and 3310 models. The fight was held in Cali, maybe SanFrancisco. Sanchez fought dirty very early, and it messed up Manny's timing and groove. Sly headbutts, armlocks and elbows, pushing and shoving, tripping and a takedown with matching knee drop near the thigh/groin area. Taking away all of that, just judging the boxing, I felt Sanchez won the very start of the fight. But Manny came back and started hitting Sanchez hard with very bad intentioned punches. Sanchez kept on trying to duck and dodge the punches, but he was getting hit with many them. I remember seeing him get hurt or cut, and Manny was gaining momentum and slowly getting back in to his groove. He was starting to get comfortable again inside the ring. But the cut caused by the headbutt was getting worse and worse, and the ref had to stop the match because it would be unfair to the one that got butted. So they went to the scorecards. I think if Pac never got cut and the fight continued, there's a very good chance that Pac would have won that fight clearly.
Sanchez was a drrty mother****er that night. If memory is correct he had the better start but Pacquiao had a couple of good rounds before the end.
Yeah. Good early start by Sanchez, plus the rough stuff helped him ruffle Manny's feathers and take him out of the fight for a while. He was a short, stocky and strong little guy.
