think for a moment....if it did oly that much or that bad (u s ppv), why is arum again making the fight in macau?? :think
Are you Floyd boyfriend or what?pac is not irrelevant, still the whole boxing world want to see Floyd vs Pac.but of course *****s dream every night that Pac would die and the talk would stop. Pac is still number 2PPV fighter, hardly irrelevant if you ask me. And yes,i'm Floyd fan.but mostly fan of boxing.
925k but showtime lost money 3 out of 4 fights. the canelo one was the only fight that made money for them.
You guys are comparing the drawing powers of FMJ & Pac to determine who's the "better" fighter. What in the ****. If we are actually talking about ppv numbers as is, Floyd is regarded as the bigger draw. Period.
Please explain how ppv #s are effected by fight being in China? I can see how you would argue gate numbers but ppv is being shown in u.s so how is the fight being in China going to effect buys? Its still being promoted in the u s.
How though? Your a idiot, your already trying to make up excuses for the poor # in ppv you know its going to bring. Its still promoted here in the u s I don't see a difference and you don't explain how ppv #s are impacted .
Its only partly promoted here that's where you're going wrong yes they have also promoted in the states but it has not been a full on promotion like as if it was held in the states.............. Why are you playing dumb why don't you just understand that fighting in china and fighting vegas does not bring the same exposure most of the ppv money come from the states.
How do you know its partly promoted? I haven't noticed a difference in promoting. The fight is also taking place in the morning in China, to ensure that Americans get the fight at normal fight time. Shows the focus is still to sell fights in u.s. You have no proof of this, you don't work for top rank and definitely don't know anything. Your just setting up your excuses already.
Saw it. Basically, Algieri is broke and lives in his mom's basement. Pacquiao plays for the PBA but sucks at it.
I'm not sure why either. This article mentions that it happens but not why: (Rios / Pac fight - Taffet is an HBO exec) "Taffet feared the decline might even be greater. He said his research indicated that a pay-per-view emanating from outside the U.S. would only get 30 to 40 percent as much as a show started from within the U.S., despite the fact that the show started at the exact same time as it would have had it been in the U.S." http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/boxin...-rios-fight-sells-475-000-213600764--box.html While it's not an answer per se, it does indicate that they are aware of the drop in PPV buys and the numbers still work in their favor.
this is a ****ing classic.. boxing_master is switching to constable to post then replying to the same thread with his alt HAHAHAH i dont even think MVC does that..
