It's almost as if the Mayweather fans just won the lottery, stop living in fantasy land and work your way out of social welfare.

Relax showbox. Search and read my post history if you want to know my overall position on the issue.

#1. I don't believe any numbers released by mayweather, goldenboy or toprank unless validated by an official statement from hbo.

#2 Manny is a top ppv fighter, thats why we anticipate Floyd Manny breaking all records.

Taking #2 into account, How is Fighthype privy to the numbers. At the very least you should delay commenting on these numbers until validated by HBO. And, yes, if toprank releases some nice sounding number, then we can reject it.

What about the Floyd/Ortiz fight ? HBO did not release it and it took GBP 6 weeks to release the non official numbers.

Not surprised.....It was TIM Bradley.....Pac carried the entire event on his name....similar to the Clottley fight where Pac pretty much was the driving force behind the 750k PPV buys for that fight. 800k is still good but it didn't hit the million mark which is what is expected for a Pac PPV event.....but I didn't think this fight would do over a million simply because TIM was really unkown and there wasn't someone like Canelo, Cotto or Shane helping the to build the card.

That's actually really good, but they've set the bar so high now it's considered a disappointment nowadays
