Best strategy for double guard...... angles. Pac does that in abundance.

 

Two things to notice here, firstly clottey is so much bigger than pacquiao. Secondly being pally with the guy before a fight is usually a good indication of a WAR approaching. As clottey said in a recent interview 'when the bell rings that other guy is there to kill me and i am there to kill him, the friendship starts again once the fight is over'.

However, this would have been so much more exciting if mayweather was sitting opposite max. Can you imagine that :rofl

Clottey is gigantic compared to Pac; will be an interesting fight due to Clotteys durability IMO.

Pac has the advantages in footspeed and handspeed so I imagine he will land whenever Clottey tries throwing his punches with ease.

I say-Pac lands a lot on gloves but lands enough clean shots to win a decision in a fight that is competitive for five rounds, but ends with a big guy with a good defence taking shots on his gloves and not throwing much back.

But Clottey is game, and a genuine Welter (and probably a super middle by the time he gets in the ring) so fair play to Pac for taking it.

We'll know the winner of this fight by the midway point. By that time I feel the styles will be well established and IMO Pac will start to overwhelm and frustrate Clottey with punch output and angles.

so far nowhere near as good as cotto's. like i've said so many times before, i don't think clottey is going to make weight. if the fight does come off, then the high guard isn't going to work against a in-out style like pac's. pac used to fight coming forward all the time, but now he doesn't, and pac's style will take advantage of clottey's defense and style.

 

I noticed the same thing, he is pretty intimidating when he looks like that!
