You have the smaller dynamic fighter facing a true veteran with a good chin(stood up to plasterhands for 11 rounds). I think it will be the same result. With exception of speed, Cotto has all the advantages. Chin, bigger puncher, beat and fought better competition, bigger man. Thus, I see a late stoppage in Cotto's favor and Pacman's career going similar to Trinidad. I think this is a gift to Cotto from Arum considering he was on his way to being the number cash cow before the Margarito incident.
I dont see the similiarities at all with Cotto to Bhop. Bhop is a defensive mastermind Cotto doesnt have a fraction of the defensive skills Bhop has.
That has got to be the worst comparison ever. Try again later with a more close comparison. I do agree with you that Cotto will win by KO......
weight disparity maybe, but skillwise? ...Tito is great, but he stands in front of his opponent too long and against a veteran like Hops, bigger and wiser in the ring, he had it coming. Cotto and Pac have their own defensive flaws and usually rely on their offense to beat their opponent. The fighter who could execute his gameplan more often than not will win this. Both can KO each other, and might happen anytime. Will not end in a decision.
Terrible comparison, but these types of ESB comparisons are usually bad anyway so I'm not at all surpised. You fail, try again.
Very poor comparison. Hopkins is a defensive mastermind, Cotto isn't a back foot fighter at all really. He used that style against Margarito out of necessity.
