how would this go down, I think it could be a good fight. Cotto and pac are closer in size than pac and marg.
It's a total mismatch of the tallest order. Cotto is at his peak, not past his prime or dead at 147. He performs best at 147, and has proved that over the last couple of years. It isn't a question of who wins, but how many rounds it takes for Cotto to stop Manny. Manny is a great fighter, but he is out of his depth against fighters at 147 who aren't shot.
Normally I would agree with the previous analysis, however now I see it highly possible for Pac to put Cotto on ***** street, much like Torres did.
:rofl:roflatschatsch Can somebody please tell me all of this is a dream. There is no way everybody at ESB can forget everything they know about this sport over night. It's unbelievable.
I don't want to see Pac at 147 again. First prime/elite fighter he meets there destroys Pac. Pac should just build the strongest legacy he can, at the weight he feels he is most effective and comfortable, which I seriously doubt is 147, but who knows?
Now I see it highly possible for Pac to put Cotto on ***** street, much like Torres did. So what gave you this impression? Cotto would have murdered Oscar had he been in the ring with him last night. I probably would have turned it off not wanting to see such brutality. Oscar was a zombie, a shot fighter, dead at the weight, not throwing punches. Because Pacquiao beat him, he didn't knock him out, he now puts Cotto on "***** street". Holy ****. HELP!
Cotto should win but his ability to take punishment is on a decline. A Margarito rematch would speed up the process as Cotto won't be able to absorb what it takes from Margarito to win. I can totally see him getting beat by Margarito again and losing in a fight like this. One you thought he couldn't.
Cotto. Keep your head on folks, the top tier at 147 too good at that weight. 140 different ball game at the moment. Hattons the best there and Pac's got more than a good chance of beating him.
