Just re-checked it on Dish Net PPV and that is if you order early! No way will I pay that much for a fight anymore, esp. not in Bush's economy. Promoters are pushing it, to Hell with them! What say ye?

Bit steep. Hardcore fans of Pacquiao will probably pay that though.

even here at the PI, i am thinking twice wether to watch it at the cinemas where they charge P500-600 (around $11-13 converted) a ticket. i would probably go though because the network that is covering pac's fight here are putting too much advertisements.

How much will promoters demand in the near future? $100? They will milk us all until we quit falling for their robbery.

If dish network is the same as Direct TV. the 59.95 is probably for hi def and there is a cheaper option for standard def like 49.95. I still wouldn't pay that for this fight though.

Don't want to rub it but in Britain we get nearly all the big cards from America and they aren't on PPV, they are included in the standard tv fee (except Ricky Hatton fights which cost about £15 or £28) You guys get ripped off.

    WOW! that's a bit steep...
That fight had HBO Championship Boxing all over it.
(Too bad entire fight cards ain't what they used to be)

I'll be watching either on Sopcast or will gut it out until the following Sat.
And check out the replay if HBO show's it.

I'm not watching that **** ... i'm not going to pay 59.95 to watch Pacquiao against a non elitist ... Tye Fields v Monte Barrett, Steven Lueveno v Mario Santiago, and Humberto Soto against a guy I never heard of ...

Naw I think i'm good on that night ... I don't like any of those fighters that much to pay for it.
