    I don't care . . . it's party time as ussual. :D

We are 14 in the group and we always shed $20 dollars each . . . so that's $ 280 . . . we'll pay $60 for the PPV . . . the rest goes to the drinks and the barbecue. :yep

We got to watch it in a giant screen in a beach house . . . with a bonfire.

    :good

I wish there were cinema's or bars around here that showed fights. Boxing is pretty much no existant up here in Lewiston maine.

Anyway, are you honestly prepared to blame "Bush's economy" for the rise in PPV costs? Do you really want to be made to look a fool?

$50 or $60(that's for HD for sure) is just 5/6 Gallons of gas. That's cheap weekend entertaInment compare to what you'll normally do on weekends. With Pac style against a sturdy opponent, it's guaranteed action fight. WE went out camping last weekend and I just spend $60 in gas alone. Just invite friends and have a potluck. You Take care of the PPV, ask one friend to take care of beer, another for the food, etc.

Me and my cousins, we can't wait anymore. we are so excited. WE are normally around 15-20+ adults plus 20+ kids during a Pac fight. It's a Big event for us. It's like a Fiesta or Family Reunion. You missed this fight, you guys will be missing a Great event!!! Which PPVs you enjoyed recently??? Which fighter gives your Money's worth??? WE are buying it because of Pac.

Great idea from you and Psychopath. That is the only way to go, but still it is highway robbery. Especially knowing that the undercard is poor. HBO should have taken care of this fight. The only importance is that Pac is fighting for a higher division belt. I really don't think Diaz will win and when he loses, he will get lost in the rankings possibly for good. Everyone is just aiming to see the big names fighting each other. What will such if Pac takes him out in one and then you will be thinking about that gas money.

It's a great idea....if you know people who will do it. I don't honestly, as many of my friends would rather sit around and play cards for free than spend money on an event, or even try and catch it at a sports bar (which I find too crowded)

And it's not cheaper than my usual weekend entertainment....$60 fills up my entire tank with gas.

This fight should have been cheaper. Actually it should have been on HBO Championship Boxing to showcase the sport. The mainstream knows very little if anything about Manny Pacquiao. And with Mayweather retiring along with DLH at the end of the year, the US needs to showcase the best fighters as much as they can.

Actually, I use to charge my friends 20.00 each and would get the fights and cook a primerib dinner with rice, potatoe salad, salad, tostones, and of course beer. I use to do this all the time until my brothers showed up empty handed and started picking on the primerib. It was fun either way. Any left over money, we would buy more beer.

You Play cards, you need money too and you might lose money too. Just put the betting to the Pac Diaz fight. We always Draw 12 tickets with Rounds written on it for $5 each. Whoever picked the rd where the fight ends wins the pot. That's $60 pot for the winners. Imagine If you picked the 1st rd of the Pac-JMM, I bet you be yelling "Stay down!! STay Down!!!. In that fight I picked rd 2, and I remember saying "Get D Pac up!!! One more Rd!!!" It's the most exciting betting in Boxing nowadays. Try it!!!

I wouldn't pay 10$ for this fight. Pac, without a top opponent, is mind numbingly boring to watch in his repeitiveness.

Who said we play cards for money?

Nah....this fight isn't worth the money in comparison to other cards that will come up down the road.
