Wasnt DLH at weight for weeks though? I m not saying he wasnt drained but im surprised he didnt have major health problems if he was dehydrating himself for that length of time. Pimp C and NALLEGE have arrived. The resident Floyd **** suckers out in force.
i gotta go with Pac's win. At least Hoya had a chance. If he would have connected with one big hook he could have change things around. What ever chance marquez had was cheated away by floyed by not making weight.
Credit to Mayweather for beating.. Manfredy Hernandez Corrales Castillo Judah De la hoya no credit for the Marquez win, Baldomir or retiring when the Welterweight division was at its' strongest.
How in the hell could he connect when he needed an IV before the fight the guy was a walking zombie who would have been easy pickens for anyone ranked in the top 30 at 147 that night.:deal
Pac's win was more impressive. Not many picked him to win and even those that did - didn't expect that kind of destruction of Oscar. We all pretty much knew Mayweather would win his fight - even thought no many thought it would be a complete shutout.
neither opponent had a chance of winning but where as oscar shot himself in the foot, floyd already had every advantage and and weighed in what ever he wanted to...but if i had too pick one...ah I'm not picking either one
pacmans win is more impressive as he moved up 2 divisions. mayweather was impressive after a 2 year layoff but it was a tuneup and wont go down as one of his finest wins.
Its pretty obvious that a smaller man beating the bigger man is more impressive than vice versa... both were masterclasses in their own right however & JMM had more to offer than Oscar due to certain conditions but still, beating the big guy is better.
I still say Pac over Oscar is a better win. Sure Marquez was trying, but so was Oscar (initially at least). Oscar's will was eventually broken and he just stopped trying, and weight drained or not, you can only thank Pac throwing (and landing) everything but the kitchen sink at Oscar for that. In the end, both Oscar and Marquez were negatively affected by the weight, but Pac was the smaller man in the fight, was more aggressive and took more chances against a guy who could still hurt him, while Mayweather was content to play it safe against a guy who couldn't hurt him.
This is ridiculous. Pac was expected to get killed, he went up in weight and KO ODLH. PBF was expected to KO JMM, he failed to make weight and cruised to a UD. All this ODLH drained BS can only be attributed to excuses, no proof of this. Pac destroyed Hatton in equal manner and he wasnt weight drained.
