PAC vs Floyd being close to done

Did you regret making it? Would you rather not have made that prediction?

Anyway, I believe this fight will get made. Pacquiao is so concerned with legacy he'll give some concessions to Floyd just so the fight gets done.

 

While I do remain optimistic, David Mayo from the Grand Rapids press, arguably the closest journalist to team Mayweather, wrote a column the other day saying that there were still many obstacles to overcome before making the fight. He doesn't think they are close and even says that he is skeptical that the fight will ever get made.

Hopefully they can make some progress this week when Manny is in the USA.

 

When they do fight Mayweather is going to box the **** out of Pac! Answer this for me! Why do you not see fighters that have great movement on Pacs resume? That in and out **** will not work on Mayweather and I promise you will see the sweet science at its best when this fight happens and I think it will look just like the Marquez fight!

 

I'm not biting. We're still less that a month out from Floyd's last fight and even less than that from Manny's political victory. I'd guess that neither guy is seriously thinking about their next fight yet. Floyd's enjoying the vacation and Manny should really think about what he's going to do to improve his country (wouldn't boxing now be the second most important thing to him?). I hope this fight happens this fall, but I wouldn't expect any sort of announcement until at least July.

Fight wont happen. Gimme Floyd/Khan and Pac/Alexander instead

 

We thought this at one point during the last negotiations as well before the whole drug testing thing came up so until the fight is signed and made i will only look at this with hope more than expectation.

 

And to those who say that their is a chance either fighter will pull out before the fight is made, unless they are near death bed then the fight will only be postponed for a while becuase once both fighter sign that contract the TV companies will straight away invest millions in advertising so they are not going to just let either fighter pull out consequence free.

lol ok look you pessimistic *******, there is a silver lining, and that is silent righteousness. i think, once the outcome has come, and hopefully it does this year for f*&k sake, i think there will be a lot of silence about the fight - but only a week after. so, watch and enjoy the fight, do not come to esb for a week, then you'll be gold hahahahaha

 

Who cares. And I think the main thing fans argue about is who ducked who. If a fight is confirmed the 12,876 threads on the issue become irrelevant, and the argument will be on GOAT status.
