So I realize that the negotiations for this fight have somewhat hit a snag, but in an article over at the scene of boxing, it mentions this snag and there is a quote by Arum stating that if worst comes they'll go with the original plan for a March 13 fight that would most likely be held at the Dallas Cowboys stadium. From this statement alone, it would seem that whenever this fight does come off it'll likely be in Dallas. As a texan this is pretty awesome news. The question is, does this fight have what it takes to attract enough people to actually fill it up?

shady texas boxing commissions and their judges. If I were Pac, as a foreigner, I would be VERY worried.

that is not what it means at all. He's saying Pac would fight somebody else in March at that stadium. Maybe Marquez.

There is no snag, its just negotiation ploys, they are making noises of Pac's other options, giving the Floyd team the false idea that Pac don't need Floyd too desperately. This is suppose to ****-up Floyd and make him be more accommodating towards the negotiations. Whether it will work is another matter.

of course you are right, but it's pretty stupid. Floyd walked away from the DLH rematch. He won't lose at the table.

marquez and pac to fill cowboys stadium? seems like more of a venue for a SUPER fight, not just a big fight.

Ha, Pac doesn't need Floyd desperately, my friend. It's quite obviously the other way around.

How many people does this new staduim hold ? , Ive heard around 100,000 mark is this true!? and if so is boxing big enougth in Texas to fill it , Mayweather aint got 50,000 fans to take down there and Pac aint got 50,000 willing to go down to Texas to follow him already stateside , this fight needs to be in Vegas where it will make more then enougth money to plz both fighters demands and the promoters.

P.S - this fight whould sell out in Vegas at the MGM to being i more realistic gate of just under 17.000 the real money to be made hear is the PPV which with the right build up should do over 1.5 Million no way is this fight crossing more buys then Hoya v PBF

The first Cowboys game held in it had a crowd pushing 120k. If you just use the seats it holds around 85k. For a boxing event it would probably hold 100k. And boxing is big in Texas though more along the coast and border. Really the video boards are what make it an attractive venue for boxing.

Pac's got more fans than Floyd. We will show up in numbers if this fight were to be in Texas. and that's a very nice stadium to watch a boxing fight. I hope it IS in cowboy stadium

i think pac needs floyd more the floyd needs pacman...lets be honest, most people want to see pacman whip on floyd b/c he's undefeated, a cocky ******* etc. pacman is a star and #1 p4p but fmj has been that for years and is a star as well...on the negotiation level i think floyd is actually right on this one, he's has upper hand imo. unfortunately floyd vs (anyone) would be a huge draw b/c of his sacred 0 and his infamous attitude.

Explain how floyd is right when his last fights were a UD against ODLH, a good knockout 9th round of Hatton and a shut against a blownup lightweight.

Then you got Pac who has retired ODLH in a shutout (which is a way better victory than Floyd's shutout against JMM) an absolute annihilation of Ricky Hatton (Way better impressive win) and a solid spectacular destructive pounding of a legit welterweight named Cotto.

Floyd brings nothing to the table. He has no fans. Nobody from Michigan will travel to watch him fight. But, you do have his demographic fans of pimps, drug dealers and thugs that will pay money to watch him fight.

floyds ppv numbers are greater and like i said the bad guy everyone want to see on the canvas is the bigger draw ....like he said what would be the bigger headline....floyd jr. gets knocked the **** out by pacman or vice versa. ppl will never stop talkin bout it if floyd loses to pac...ever. they would say see...i told you, this is why he was ducking fighter etc etc. if floyd beats pac ppl are going to forget about his ass and hope that ssm knocks floyd out!
