Outside DLH, who carries the numbers based on his own popularity, Pac has done the biggest number...

If both were to retire now, 90% of the boxing writers and public would rate Pac as the greatest fighter of his generation. Should he retire, Floyd will be in his shadow. the only way for that to be undone is if pac were to loose to Floyd, Floyd will claim that thrown.

So in a way, if ATG status was a belt, Pac is the current champ and Floyd is the challenger, Pac's status is what is at risk...thats big.

yeah but if he loses he will not get as much flack as pbf would b/c he lost already, he's a small humble poor kid who climbed to the top he will still get major kudos for even stepping in the ring with FMJ...now on the other hand if FMJ loses....he is toast!

They both have a lot to loose. Pac has his legacy to loose, everything his worked for, his feats may seem amazing but no doubt will be diminished should his run stop. Everyone is calling on PBF to step up his comp, Pac or Mosley is that. Pac has already stepped up his comp, his been underdog and come through time and time again so he doesnt have anything more to prove.

Fighting PBF is simply to chase more money and more glory, at the risk of loosing his status as the greatest of his generation.

I agree with PBF, he will get so much flak if he looses. That said, he has to fight a big challenge sooner or later as pressure is getting heavy, I think he rather it be Pac than Mosley or Williams.

No he hasnt you ****ing ****. Pac sold 1 mil less then Floyd against DLH. About 2-300,000 less then Floyd against Hatton. wow, he did 200,000 more against Cotto. And those are Bob Arum figures.

How exactly does that equal to more then Floyd? You cant count?

Pac beat up everyone elses leftovers. A shot drained DLH who hadnt fought at 147 in a decade. A Ricky Hatton who had already been beaten by Floyd. And Cotto who had is ass handed to him by Margarito and got a gift against Cotto.

Floyd meanwhile beat DLH, Hatton and Marquez(who whipped Pacs ass) all coming off impressive victories.

You think Pac is more popular then Floyd? Is that why he did 1. mil against Oscar when Floyd did 2.3?

    Pac-Cotto=sellout

PBF-JMM=giving out hotel rooms + tickets to fight

Pac's fanbase will travel across the globe to see him fight. Floyd's fans..couldn't even get their passports if he were to fight in the UK

Key word is Oscar. The fight comes down to Oscar's popularity at the time of his fight. Before oscar Floyd was doing under 400k, after Oscar he has barely broken 1mil...
