Against Clottey he threw 1231 punches.
    Against Margarito he threw 1069
    Against Mosley he threw 729
Against JMM he threw 588 (less than their previous two bouts)

Floyd may be older than Pac, but his ring age is younger. Floyd is also past his prime too. His work rate has declined but his overall game has not declined as much as Pac's. That's obvious to any objective spectator. And I'm not making excuses, I always backed Floyd to beat Pac. I'm just pointing out the facts.

What would you say would be the % of Pac winning? He still has some chance to win, no doubt about it, but given the size and skill of both, I'd say that it's not really 50/50, if they fought 10 times or 100 times (theoretically), I see May winning many much more than Pac. Sadly... I'd say maybe 75-80% Mayweather. Trust me, I would like to see Pac do better, but I think he's just too small. If he was physically bigger than Fraud, with longer reach, then these odds would change big time, but IMHO, if he couldn't decisively beat JMM, I just don't think his changes of beating Gayweather are that high...

Still, he has a chance of winning, I just don't see him being favored, probably why he got dropped in the P4P rankings, most people now don't see him winning against "don't have the urge legacy don't pay bills" mayweather.

do u know why? because mosley and marquez didnt stand in front of him to be a punching bag. and u can clearly see he was intimidated to throw against marquez because of his counter-punching

It's styles bro, you act like JMM is some bum fighter or something. Pac beat down and dominated guys who would have beaten JMM handedly. It's just styles.

Floyd being a counter puncher doesn't equate to him having the same kind of success JMM has. Floyd is a much different kind of fighter.. much more cagey and flat footed then JMM is , and I see Pac having more success against him. It's not an easy fight for Floyd, at all. I agree that the size difference is Floyd's biggest advantage, and could be a hurdle for Manny, but to be honest I've never really liked Floyd's style against Pacquiao . He's so cagey with his defense and has a tendency of locking up and being flat footed , where Pacquiao would take advantage. His chin isn't the greatest either and he doesn't have the mentality to counter punch the way JMM does to back Pacquiao off.

because he tried to fight a smarter fight cuz he has WAY MORE TO LOSE now. he actually did better with his defence then the last fights but marquez did even better then the first 2 times, did his homework, and had a great strategy

Pac resume vs May? LOL Please... Besides, Hatton, Hoya, Mosley, Pac beat much more decisively in a more impressive fashion... JMM was just too small for May, + had to gain 17 pounds (vs same size & weight for Pac)... Gatti C+ fighter Fraud said himself. Judah had just lost to Baldomir. Ortiz KO by cheap shot. Baldomir, Mitchell, Bruseles, Corly, N'dou, Sosa, wtf. That's since 03.

    Pac since 03:
-Barrera, Marquez, Morales, Diaz, Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Marg, Mosley... All same size or bigger, anyhow, I don't think it compares... YMMV.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Will you **** off. You asked for evidence showing he has declined, I provide it and you come out with some obtuse bull**** like that in a pathetic attempt to refute it. Pac's last outing was his worst performance of the trilogy in case you didn't notice. :patsch

Still the biggest fight that can be made, whether it has lost some luster or not. Both camps should be putting their energy into making this fight.

Who'd have beaten JMM handedly? You act like JMM is some bum fighter or something. ;)

Possibly, he's bigger than JMM, has better reach, arguably a better fighter than JMM. I personally don't see him as having much more success against him... Even power, old mosley couldn't drop May, who knows how well Pac takes the bigger Mayweather's punches and how he can handle his speed... Floyd might be flat footed, but it doesn't mean Pac can get in, and it doesn't mean that even if he gets in, that he has more success hitting May than he had hitting JMM... And if he didn't hurt JMM, what makes you think he can hurt the bigger May who got caught by Mosley and still didn't go down (though was close to...)

Again, it's a lot of ifs and theorizing, but IMHO, it all comes down to size, May is just bigger than Pac, and that's what will make the difference in the fight. Pac just has trouble reaching May like he did JMM and loses a decision, maybe even gets tagged by May and gets hurt.... Or maybe he catches May and wins, who knows...

Well that's two big if's... Can Pacquiao really take advantage and would he? Does FM really lack the mentality to counter punch Pac? I think JMM layed out some weaknesses of Pac's, even though I'm not a fan of May, I wouldn't be surprised if, given his size advantage, he was also able to expose different weaknesses of Pac... Reach... Speed... Sure, he's a different fighter than JMM, but he's bigger, that's a big advantage... And May is no slouch as a boxer... He's pretty good too...
