Same thing I have been thinking. If anything Hatton might be a little stronger at 140, but this fight looks like a good style matchup for Pacman.

chin and strength has to go to hatton if your not biased but the others can be argued either way.

probably against less skilled and slower opponents... Hatton pushed PBF to the ropes but it's more of PBF allowing it to happen since he knew he has an excellent defense at close quarters...

Hatton made Mayweather uncomfortable for five rounds - he even admitted it himself.

I think Floyd was a little shocked at Hatton's intensity, as much as anything.

chin? one check hook to Hatton's chin and it was over... i don't think the ring post finished Hatton... he's already dead when he slammed that ring post...

it was a check hook from pbf, the best fighter in the world. pac was dropped by a jab for chrissake.

i think it was more bout style... PBF had a hard time establishing his coz hatton was in his face. Pac's style is a different from PBF... he doesn't sit in the corner and potshoting his opponents, he usually counter fire with fire with his blistering hand speed.

    balance defo matters mate.
No balance,no leverage. No leverage,no power. And hatton gets 100% leverage in his shots when he steps inside an to the side.
Imo, pac will be on his toes in this fight, and has been known to throw windmill type arm shots. Not that they dont hurt mind. But i think the edge in power defo goes to Hatton. Proven at 140.
And if you look at the way he handled castillo, like a rag doll, Hatton also comes top in the strength department, something that will, imo,be a big factor in this fight.

I agree style played a part, but that doesn't change the fact that Hatton imposed himself on Mayweather and made him uncomfortable.

Floyd is much better at covering up than Pacquiao could ever dream of being, but on the flipside there will be plenty firing back rather than simply right hand counters.

The straight left won't be the factor that everyone is expecting it to be..... I see Pac having more success with slashing punches, the hooks mainly.

    Are you for real ?

How can you expect your first post to be taken seriously when you have to ask if balance is important.

balance is HUGELY important in any sport , boxing in particular.

Man think before you open your mouth !!

No matter what hatton do he will get hit with this punch... nobody not even JMM was exempted from this patented pac punch. Now it's all up to hatton how he will react.

Experience should be Hatton's advantage since Hatton has most of his fights in 140lbs, while pac hasn't fought in that division. Power and size, though it's not big difference, but still it's hatton's advantage..
