about 15-20 seconds into the fight, Hatton pins Pacquiao against the ropes, throws his pattented low-blow / rabbit-punch combination, and then notice how Pacquiao walks him back all the way to the center of the ring. I think right then and there, he had absolutely no chance.

People definitely misjudge Pac physically. He's a solid 140/147lber, clearly. The fact he was a flyweight when he was about 12 is irrelevant.

That was the big misconception, even among a lot of knowledagble boxing ppl, that Hatton could bully him. He couldn't.

Interesting moment, but it was in fact an error for Team Pacquiao this happened, and all the fans who predicted Hatton would be unable to trap Pacquiao at any point in the entire fight. Hatton had him on the ropes within 20 seconds. Pacquiao responded by running Hatton out with more strength than the rules allow. He bulled Hatton out illegally. It was more of a panic move and a correction move than a statement move, IMCV.

I know. My telling a forensic truth about the situation is like saying that there's no proof of God near the alter. ESB has become the Church of Manny.

I don't understand your point... Are you saying Pac's victory is tainted cause he walked Hatton back in a clinch?

Were you drunk when you watched the fight? Pac was never in danger when Hatton cornered him on the ropes. This situation had been prepared for in training.

You mean when he was pushing ricky to the center of the ring while still in the clinch?
