Team PAC declared before the JMM rematch fight that win or loss against JMM, there's a big possibility that PAC will fight David Diaz next for the WBC 135 lbs. belt.

After the PAC-JMM 2 fight, JMM stated that he's willing to fight PAC for the 3rd time at 135 lbs.

Now if PAC can successfully get a 135 belt, isn't it historic if PAC vs. JMM 3 will be for the 135 belt.

    1st fight at 126 - For JMM's WBA & IBF featherweight belts - DRAW

2nd fight at 130 - For JMM's WBC super featherweight belt - PAC via SD

    3rd fight at 135 - Hopefully for PAC's WBC lightweight belt - ???

Is there 2 same boxers before fighting for titles in 3 different weight division?

PAC-JMM 3 at 135 lbs. could become bigger and historic at the same time.

I consider it very interesting. I'm not aware if there's already 2 boxers who have done this in the past - 3 title fights in 3 different weight division.

And if the 3rd fight will result in a DRAW then PAC and JMM can have a 4th fight at 140 lbs.

they can go all the way to heavyweight (200+ lbs) when they're both in their 40s or 50s. :D

the mab-erik trilogy also happened in 3 different weight classes (122,126,130). also like that trilogy, the first two fights were very close and controversial. hopefully, the third fight (like in the mab-erik trilogy) will finally have a more definitive winner. but i won't be surprised at all if it still doesn't. pac and jmm are just so equally matched.

Thanks for the info. Yes, it's not surprising if PAC-JMM 3 will not have a clear winner just like the Erik-MAB trilogy.

Guzman will be at 135 before the end of the year. He was gonna move up for Katsidis last year, and he rehydrates to 148 on fight night. Me thinks it's time.
