I'm going with JMM. I think Pacquiao will continue to box instead of brawl, like he's had a tendency to do his past 5 fights or so until he gets the other guy hurt, and JMM can just outbox Manny. If Manny goes buckwild, I can see a Manny knockout, but he seems much more controlled lately, and I feel like that will be his downfall.

I think Prime Morales beat Pacquiao a majority of the time, while Prime Pacquiao beats Prime MAB every time out. Morales' style would always trouble Pacquiao.

    Prme Morales beats Prime PAC!

SURE buddy! No problem accepting your imagination.
You can even think Morales can beat pac 8 out of 10 times.
ALL in first devastating KO! Happy now!?!

This is an imagination that NOBODY has the right to take away from you. CORRECT!? Now if you want to go to the world of REALITY. Here's REALITY for you!

    PAC vs MORALES
    2-1
his two wins is MORE DEVASTATING than his sole win!
THAT's a fact that you have to LIVE WITH IT! :D :yep :D

I don't want to argue about your dreams of it's and could have's.
It's all hypothetical and too bad you can't turn back the time.

OK, but if this is the reasoning you are going to use, can I say that Singsurat will always beat Pacquiao? He stopped him in the 3rd round with one hell of a shot....and this is reality.

This is why you have to actually look at things on a case by case basis.

Thats a damn good post. Pretty boy Manny seems to have fallen in love with his minimal boxing improvements. I havent seen him initiate action since the last Erik fight. Even with Solis which really was c level, he tried being cute until he got cut. I love his aggression in the JMM fight, I jsut didnt like the fact that he only threw the left straight all night.

I think Pacquiao will be controlled aggression throughout the fight until he hurts JMM. He will go forward, but not wild.

You have been making solid points, however its a pointless arguement with a Pac fan, as it falls on deaf ears.

I cant pick this fight..its one of those I have to see the first round first. I just cannot see PAC winning with the same formula he used against MAB(2nd).

I also feel that JMM can be broken down with constant pressure...If I didnt feel that and if prior fights didnt give us a hint that that can be done...then Id pick JMM

    Right now Im just excited!

That's fair reasoning and you're right, if he tries to outbox and outfox Marquez, he will be beaten. I am assuming Pacquiao will be aggressive. And I also believe that I am right in my observation that JMM's reflexes have gone down just a bit. I think the combination leads to a Pacquiao KO.

We just had a spectacular fight on TV, and we have another one coming on this week which could have fireworks, so lets hope for a good fight.

Thats the thing that nobody can or wants to explain......
......you say until he hurts JMM, my question is when has JMM ever been hurt enough for a fighter to go ballistic on him without suffering counterpunching consequences?

The three knockdowns against Pac were freakish in nature in that the fight had just started and JMM miscalculated distance, but even then Marquez was never in a state in which you can say that the ref might step in and stop the fight.
JMM got hit, he went down, he got right back up.....everytime on steady legs.

Lets be real here, JMM took Pac's best shots and not once ever buckled or lost his legs under him from being hurt.
What makes anybody think that this time will be any different?

Unless anybody thinks that Pac will just put on an early blitz clinic and get JMM out of there as Hagler did against Hearns, I dont think anybody has a leg to stand on to say that Pac will fight controlled and pick his spots to then take JMM out of there......that type of a scenario would find JMM getting beatdown and wornout, of which to date nobody including Pac has come even close to doing.

Lets be real here kg, Pac's realistic shot at winning is to apply an early blitz that hurts JMM early and often through the first 3 or 4 rounds, short of that, he's not going to fight controlled and wear down a fighter the caliber of skill of JMM.
If you really put yourself into thought, that just is'nt going to happen.

Uncontrolled wildness is just the antedote to throw off a skilled fighter like JMM.
When a fighter is wild, he throws shots from weird angles and unexpected circumstances.
Thats Pac's shot at a victory imo.

My advice to Pac if I were in his corner would be to be wild, throw shots from all angles, and come forward with unrelenting pressure, even if it means taking heavy artillery in the process, if it gets you KTFO in the process, so be it, thats your chance at victory.....otherwise you're going to get disected by the master!

We shall see. Remember, I don't think either fighter is the same fighter they were years ago, as I have seen a decline in both fighters. But I have seen more of one in JMM. Whether it's due to his choosing to fight more aggressively or it's actual declining, we will find out on the 15th.

I have no horse in this race, so perhaps our perspectives are different.

As for JMM never being really hurt.....I am an RJJ fan. Need I say there is a first time for everything?

RJJ rarely got hit, so nobody really knew if the dog could dig himself from the bottom and fight.....we found out he could'nt did'nt we?:yep

JMM has dug himself from the bottom, and in his recent fights of aggression has been willing to take shots to get his own power shots off.
Skilled or dog style, JMM is no Roy Jones, he can take it and fight back!:deal :bbb :yep
