For many on this board this is an obvious post but by reading some post its hard to tell. Manny weighed in at 148 ON FIGHT NIGHT vs. Margarito. JMM weighed in at 145 ON FIGHT NIGHT. They are virtually the same size and if they fight at 147 neither guys is drained and you get to see them at their best. I have read how marzuez sucks at 147 but will be ok at 140. He would be the same size NIGHT OF THE FIGHT either way. If JMM wants the fight it makes sense to have it at 147 and is no disadvantage to him to fight there. Now he might want to fight at 140 feeling he can drain manny some but agian at 147 it would be an even fight with no excusses. I hope it happens
as it is, i want this at 143/144 catch if pac doesn't want to skip meals and weigh at 140. besides even if this fight will be made at 154, pac will just weigh-in at 144 and be 148 on fight night. come to think of it, it would be funny that two little guys barely weighing 145 and are fighting for a light middleweight belt.
I think 140 is fair, but they will probably settle to a 142-144 catch weight, and to me, that´s fair too.
