Morales was not as shot as some would have you beleive in the first fight but he was definatly not in his prime. He was still a very very dangerous threat though and Pac doesn't get the credit he deserves there. The second fight I think Morales was a lot more past it mostly due to the fact that his first fight with Pacman took so much out of him

STFU. I bet before Pac fought Barrera and Morales you were one of those people who thought that they would school Pac. Well Pac beat them decisively and now you go on to claim that those two are past their prime. STFU

This is poll is way too lopsided for Pac better than Obama-McCain.:D
I hope this should be the last poll. Very decisive. It's like a KO win. :D

Pacquiao, but I think it's closer than the poll suggests. Pac's first win over Barrera, his win over Morales in their 2nd fight - these give him the edge as JMM never fought Morales and the Barrera that JMM fought was nowhere near as good as the Barrera that Pac beat 1st time.

Divac said Morales and Barrera avoided Marquez. Any truth to this?

Pretty even...but Pac by a hair. That win over Joel etched JMM closer IMO.

:huh You really have no clue what you are talking about do you?:think Well.....you seem to know a little b/c you are half correct stating that JMM is the better BOXER! But by saying he's the better Fighter you just shot yourself in the foot.

PAC is by far the better fighter which is why he's able to be compeititve and BEAT a truly GREAT boxer like JMM. PAC's a fighter, plain and simple where JMM is one of the purest boxers to grace the sport.

What is interesting is PAC by all accouts shouldn't be able to share the same ring with a technician like JMM, but due to his talent, God given gifts, athletisim and Fighters spirit ..he's able to overcome logic and beat the boxer at his own game.

Of course JMM helps some b/c he tries to Bang with PAC which is why he ends up loosing. JMM does try to box for the most part but Pac is able to entice him in to trading which usually puts JMM on the canvas. You gotta love JMM heart though.

Comparing the two's resume's I think Pacs is more impressive but JMM has a very good one as well. the reason most think PAC's is so much better is b/c of his mainstream popularity. But if you look at who each man has faught it's pretty even.

JMM faught MAB, PAC, John, Juarez, Gainer, Mendina, Castillo....ect

PAC faught, MAB, EM, JMM, Larios, Lebwaba, Velazquez, battery ect.

It's fairly even but PAC has been more dominating against the better opposition and has faught the better oppostion more...just against the same fighters.

So you are one of the five blind mice pleading the case that JMM has better resume than pac...

You can write all the sweet words about JMM buddy. You can even say he is the best, talented, technically gifted, best counter puncher ect..etc.. name it as you please :hey

Bottom line, he has only three things to boast of!

    a)beating a prime mab
    b)beating an ULTRA prime CASA
c)salvaging a lucky Draw with PAC (better thank the judge for his error or stupidity!)

I don't know which of the three is his GREATEST achievement!. While other JMM fans downplay pac's win over mab, they probably forgot that when JMM fought mab he was even older!

It's NO BRAINER that PAC's win over Mab was FAR FAR FAR more DECISIVE and interesting than his win over MAB.

MAb never bothered to question the decision of the judge that PAC won fair and square. While during the interview with Mab when JMM won he said he felt he won. It boils down to one thing, Pac win over MAB is MORE CONVINCING than the JMM's win over Mab..

Let talk about his other achievement. Yes, he WON over the ULTRA prime CASA. Enough said

No wonder JMM fans are up in their arms pleading their case that JMM won!

You know why? COZ it's NO BRAINER that JMM's resume stinks compared to the three other guys, Morales, Mab, and PAC...

So what do guys like Divac and the rest of the JMM fans do.

THINK, PRETEND, BELIEVE, HOPE, DREAM that JMM won to FINALLY add LUSTER to RESUME of thier beloved favorite boxer!

    That's about it FOLKS!

At present Pac is ahead of Dinamita with regards to resume. The next few fights of these men will even give Pac a much bigger lead (2 or 3 more fights I guess).

The Oscar fight alone will most probably boost Pac's chances of leaving Dina far behind since a competitive fight with Oscar is enough for a Pac win in my book.

I expect Pac to improve more in his defence and his overall fighting techniques as well when he meets Oscar, he has still a lot to improve in those departments.

As for Marquez, he has to be a more aggressive fighter, especially if he meets Pac again. But due to age, I'm not so sure he can improve on that anymore.

Pac may have had a better resume compared to Marquez due to luck (maybe Pac just happened to be at the right place at the right time) so it's just fair to gauge each man's capabilities according to the way they fought each other.

I'm pretty sure most will agree that Marquez was a better boxer between the two but facts or official scores show who was the better fighter since it was the official judges who gave the scores and not the official fans who sometimes judge with their emotions.

Also, a boxer's greatness in the sport of boxing is not just seen when he is victorious in his fights. A true boxer in the sport of boxing must also be humble enough to accept his defeats and limitations - which incidentally Marquez lacks.
