I mean even if they are jmm fans, they should acknowledge that pac has the better resume than jmm. If they don't that only means they are not very knowledgable, plain haters, or ***** club members with jmm..
Obviously a thread to discredit Juan Manuel Marquez. Its easy to just say JMM fought Pacquiao and Barrera and bring up the list of Pacquiao's opponents not worth a damn and call it proof. Marquez preferred to stay in one division for most of his career, a division in which he was avoided by the big names and never got a chance to add to his resume. Those who dispute this put their intelligence into question. In his resume, less attractive relative to Pacquiao's, he has wins over the highly regarded Peden, Medina, a linear champ in Gainer, a highly disputed draw to Pacquiao, and a fight he won but received a bull**** loss to Chris John. Then he added Barrera, the rematch with Pacquiao (which he won), and finally the Lightweight Ring champ Casamayor. Its not a bad resume at all and could have been greater if JMM had gotten the opportunity early in his career instead of this late in his career. Pacquiao has a better resume because of his wins over Barrera and Morales mainly (stained wins I might add), and the rest of his components of high stature at the time of their fight. If Pacquiao keeps his bull**** by getting stopped by Oscar and Hatton and not taking those who really matter he will lag a step behind with Marquez adding J.Diaz and Campbell to his resume.
Except for the "stained wins", this is a fair post. I would indeed put JMM #1 if he continues to win and add names like J. Diaz and Campbell to his resume, while Pacquiao loses to DLH and Hatton.
WTF?! is the question similar to which is bigger the sun or the moon?! Yup! It would appear that WAY, IF THE ANSWER IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO OBVIOUS
Interesting "IF" 1) if JMM knows how to keep his feet on the ground it WOULD HAVE been a different story 2) if JMM agreed to fight PAC immediately he WOULD HAVE gotten more $$$ than a measly 30k ~ 35K from Chris John 3) if JMM also ko'd pac (which is still a dream by JMM fans ) he would have won one of the two fights 4) if JMM had more interesting fights/KO's he WOULD HAVE been the most sought after boxer 5) if JMM was so popular/interesting then promoters boxers will be lining up to fight him and his opponents will almost automatically get their biggest PAY CHECK of their CAREER.. In other WORDS, my dear 4ROUNDER... the WORD "if" WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING!
Paq's biggest win was MAB. Morales was out of it already. Prime for prime MORALES ko's Paq. JMM does hold two victories over Paq though. So JMM has the better resume to me.
i'm surprised that you didn't mentioned the big bear fire and the metal-plate in mab's skull as excuse.
Silvermags, don't hurt his feelings! Look what he calls me nowadays, a "jmmhater"! And he cries like this afterwards: :| I don't wanna see him do that again, this is a site for grown ups. So don't make him cry..:nono
