Lol, I've seen multiple posts on here to *********** about how this fight is going to be a real challenge for Pac. They use the new weightclass and the supposed 'problems' that Team Pac is having as as evidence to support this lunacy! I'm just surprised at the lack of a public outcry over this fight. So far, it's been replaced by gullible idiots...

Maybe yes, maybe no. We will soon find out. However, I refuse to pay $65 for any fight on PPV.

Are you a 9 year old with down syndrome? If you're not, there's no excuse for a post like this.

There are some worth paying for; this is hardly one of them...

$65 is ludicrous. Luckily it's aired on Sky Sports in England, so no fee. Unluckily, we will have to watch it at 3am. Swings and roundabouts i suppose.

Every fight is a challenge at this level. Margarito is no mug; he's beat some big names (though we can never be sure if he did so legally). He's undoubtedly a great boxer - to say that anyone who believes Margarito doesn't have a shot is a 'gullible idiot' is just foolish.

I agree that the 24/7 coverage overplays any issues Pac has - they want to make the fight seem competitive. However, to suggest Pacquiao has no distractions and is training smoothly seems to ignore common sense.

He is stepping up another division; whilst he has eased through every other weight until now, everyone has their limit. I'm not saying this is Pacquiao's; but we'll just have to see. His political commitments cannot be helping. There are obvious distractions - although again, I doubt they are to the extent HBO are making them seem.

Not only does any fighter have a punchers chance, Margarito has an awful lot to prove to many people. You can see how focused he is in training. I have Pacquiao to win comfortably, stoppage in the later rounds, but suggesting the fight is a forgone conclusion ignores reason.

The TS has not made a single factual statement. He, or she, has not presented any facts or evidence. In fact he, or she, has not presented a cogent argument of any kind.

Your response is full of contradictions and is missing many important facets of the situation. Yeah, Margarito does have a 'chance' to win. This is true for any other sport. However, you fail to consider odds and probability. If you look at the current betting odds for this fight, it'll show you just how much of a farce this fight is. Let's look at probability. For example, in the game of poker, I do have a 'chance' of beating pocket A's with 7,2. However, would anyone REALLY TAKE THAT BET with money on the line? Same logic applies to the Pac and Margarito bout. People are justifying this fight BASED ON THE PREMISE THAT MARGARITO HAS A PUNCHER'S CHANCE; THAT TO ME SIR, IS PLAIN WRONG.

You do realize that 24/7 is hyping up the 'issues' that Pac is having in training camp and believe that they are nothing to really cry over. However, in the very same breath, you say that to not take into account the distractions that HBO has highlighted "ignores common sense." HBO and Team Pac have been stressing the supposed distractions that Pac has had in camp and TIME AND TIME AGAIN, IT HAS HAD NO EFFECT ON FIGHT NIGHT! TIME AND TIME AGAIN, IT HAS BEEN EXPOSED AS NOTHING MORE THAN PRE-FIGHT HYPE. You have again fallen for the crap that Top Rank, HBO, and Team Pac are spewing.

To further insult the boxing world, Pac is given ANOTHER CHANCE TO GET A BELT AT A CATCHWEIGHT. This is a 154 lb belt that is being contested at 150. The man is going to make a world record based on false pretenses. On top of that, neither Pac or Margarito have done anything at 154 to deserve a vacant belt. ALL THE FACTORS THAT I HAVE MENTIONED ARE COMPLETELY LOOKED OVER BY WELL-MEANING BOXING FANS THAT HAVE THE MORAL RESPONSIBILITY TO FIGHT AGAINST BS LIKE THIS THAT PROMOTERS KEEP GIVING THE BOXING PUBLIC. IF YOU WANT THE SPORT TO BE SAVED, BE ABOUT IT...

Lol, why don't you make a "single factual statement." Why don't you present "any facts or evidence." In fact, you have "not presented a cogent argument of any kind." I'm just making the argument that people are buying into the hype that this fight is RELEVANT AND COMPETITIVE. This fight isn't relevant because it's another catchweight bout for a title. People are buying into the 24/7 BS that Pac is experiencing immense distractions that will cause him to lose. WAIT, haven't we heard this BS before?????
