I remember when this fight was announced many on here said it will be a walk over for pac and that it was a total mismatch. Over the last month or so, however, reports have suggested manny isn't as focused as usual and that Tony is looking in the best shape of his life ( not to mention he will be the bigger guy by like 5 inches).

So I'm just wondering if people are sticking with there previous predicts of an easy night for pac, or has the tide changed?

For what it's worth, I still think manny steam rolls him and stops him within 8.

I can't think of a single Pac fight where rumors didn't surface about him not looking good. This is roughly equivalent to the Mayweather vs Gatti fight - somehow people get caught up in the hype and make hilarious predictions.

It's called hype. They do it to make money. The general public is gullible as hell. In the words of Swarmer, the average boxing fan is stupid.

They made people believe Marquez, Mosley, and emmanuel can really be competitive against Mayweather. Today, they're making you believe marg has what it takes to beat emmanuel.

People that live off Jim Bang Bang Lampley and 24/7 fall for this ****.

It should have been clear this would be a tough fight

Welcome to the world of entertainment.

If you don't sucker the people in, you don't make money.

If you think the 24/7 thing is bad, You should see how sky are marketing the Haye Harrison fight! It's making the public actually believe Audley is half decent! It's ridiculous!

At least Margo has some credentials

    24/7 is like that.

Once they make weight, the odds will tip in Margo's favour even more

Then I'll probably bet on Pac by decision, with a hedge on Pac outright.

Why do you call him emmanuel? He goes by Manny Pacquiao and for it's worth, I think he beats Margo in a tough fight. I also think Pacquiao stops Mayweather if they were to fight now.

The average fan here is pretty deluded and silly too. Im only a new member here but have read countless rubbish so called opinions from these die hard fans. When the fight was announced I had call this one UD to Pac, that remains - I have £300 on that.

Very true. They can't ever just say good ****ing job on the victory. You look at a guy like Shane Mosley, who is extremely hard to hate, who gave marg one of the worse beatdowns in recent years, they can't even just say good ****ing job. Mosley was older coming into the fight and was a heavy underdog.

Not very much in my opinion.

I went home and talked to my dad. I asked him if he had any bets going with his friends. He said he cant find anyone that will bet on Margarito.

We aint stupid. Leave the Brittish to make bad gambling choices.

The Mayweather-Hatton 24/7 made them put lots of $ on Hatton. It changed the odds!
