Odds haven't come out yet for this fight, but it'll sure as hell be interesting to see what they look like when they first come out.. I'm thinking ODLH 2/5 (-250), Pac 2/1 (+200), draw 25/1 (+2500)
Looks pretty spot on to me, the public will treat this as a 50/50 fight and the real boxing fans will bet heavily on DLH. I been behind Pac through out his entire career but if the odds are too good to be true (anything less than +400 for Pacman) this will be the first time I bet against my favorite fighter.
I say Pacquiao wins via TKO by round 10. In simple terms I give him a 65% / 35% advantage over Oscar. Just too much speed, skill, and energy a this point in time for De La Hoya to overcome even at 147 lbs. I will be honest the weight does concern me as far as me picking Manny to win only because its 2 weight divisions higher then what he is currently fighting at. If they were both natural welterweights I would up it to 75 / 25 Pacquiao. A 1999 De La Hoya maybe a different story.
-500 or less and i will bet the farm on dlh. ive done a couple of small online bets before but im gonna go bigtime now.
Anybody remember the MAB-Pacman betting odds? It was either 4 to 1 or 5 to 1, IIRC. I think this coming fight, he's an even bigger underdog.
RJJ vs Ruiz, Hopkins vs. Tarver etc etc etc. History is ripe with smaller fighters taking on bigger fighters and surprising. Pac will look much faster than ever and Oscar will look more powerful than he has for a long time. Often speed matters more than power and I think people are underestimating Pac's chances here.
hells yeah i plan on recouping ALL my losses made betting against this ****er. and making some more... all hells gonna break loose if i lose tho
Some people on these forums act like Pac has 0% chance. I'll be expecting them to bet their house and cars on DLH.
