funny u ***** about floyd's O, yet pac's last fight was against a guy with less of a KO ratio than floyd....but no complaints there

edit: and huh, actually, floyd has a higher KO % than the arm-punching tornado, when you include his 6 losses

Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit in return. Floyd's right hand is extremely accurate and doesn't leave him vulnerable to being countered. Floyd has the best right in the sport.

There was no KO in the 4th round. Learn how to watch a fight.

MIGUEL COTTO did some work on the inside as emmanuel's back was against the ropes in the 4th. manny was just lying there.

See Joe Frazier for an inside fighter.

Watch some boxing or go to a prizefighting gym. You'll love it.

I think Floyd offensively was excellent up to 130ish.
Everything after that is a big smoke and mirrors job.

and i say the same with pac

only fights guys that are well past it, stand still, and don't have the KO power people think they actually do (esp since they are past it)

    pre-diaz pac....nice career

post-diaz pac....cherry picked to the extreme

Too bad there's no elbow and an uppercut is there.

How come emmanuel can't fight on the inside, with his backs against the ropes, going backwards, etc? He is limited by geography for an "offense specialist".

Cotto and Margarito I wouldn't class as cherry picked. These are the guys that FLoyd somehow missed and retired.
If Manny is a cherry picker what does that make floyd?

I tell you what is cherry picking. Fighting a FAT **** drinking JMM at 36 years old with 15 Lb pound advantage.
    Now that is cherry picking.
Some ppl say oh its a warm up fight. I didnt see Vitali have a warm up fight before bashing Peter about after 4 years retirement....:patsch
Now thats a champ. Thats balls.

Offensive skill has nothing to do with having a great KO ratio dumb limey. Winky Wright didnt KO anyone but had one of the greatest jabs and combinations in the game.

For instance Carl Froch and Ricky Hatton have high KO percentage, but they are horribly skilled and if not for their inate strength would be terrible fighters.

Floyd Mayweather has one of the best jabs. Best left hooks. Best lead right. Best uppercuts ect ect in boxing. If Mayweather chooses to pressure you he is the best pressure fighter in the game, if he chooses to box he is the best boxer in hte game.

Thats why Mayweather is great offensively? As good as Pacquiao in all? No. But the gap between Mayweathers defense and Pacquiao's offense is greater then vice versa.

Sharamba Mitchell straight right to the body.

Being able to fight off the backfoot, front foot, against the ropes center of the ring is called versatility moron.

Its something few fighters can do.

So you're saying Pacquiao is as good as floyd Mayweather at fighting on the inside?

cotto was as cherry picked as they come

beaten to a pulp by concreto...life and death with joshua "i will find a way to lose" clottey, no trainer, catch-weight, stooped sitting on punches after margo...hat fight was picked because roach knows cotto is not the cotto of old

margo...hold crap...not cherry-picked...a walking punching bag who hasn't done anything since his cotto fight...he got murdered by "old man" mosley, and looked like ass against a C-level fighter....his defence is his chin, and his wide-ass punches can be seen coming from Tiajuana...slow-plodding..slooooooow

and the pbf ducking marg thing is such a fabrication its hilarious

margo "i want to fight you"

floyd "yeah, you're a good young fighter..keep winning and we'll do it"

margo "ooooouch, stop punishing me paul"

Its what you do when an ugly Brit tries to hug you. You put that elbow in his neck. Still doesnt mean Floyd isnt one of the best at fighting on the inside. Every elite fighter uses borderline illegal tactics from Ali to Duran.

Hatton tried to fight Floyd on the inside, and got beat up.
