Rios will not be the same after getting handed his first official and most brutal loss at the hands of Manny Pacquaio.

It will be the same if not better than the beat down Manny put down on David Diaz. Pointless

Instead Arum should match up Rios in competitive bouts, in which the public gains.

Bouts with the likes of Garcia, Khan, Mattthyse is what fans want to see. Not one-side fights that favour one guy.

Rios being signed to Arum will prevent other potentially great Rios fights before any beating received from Pac ever becomes a real issue.

Please remind me of what credible belts Rios has won at 140/147? I forgot

i agree. rios will be no match for pac and there's about 5 other opponents out there in which he could possibly have classic fights against.

This fight is a joke. Yet again no attempt from Arum to make the Floyd fight

    PAC will destroy Rios

My point is, champions nowadays (or belt-holders to be more correct) are nothing more than manufactured champions. Their paths to trinkets are engineered. Very rarely do they get their hands on belts by actual deserved merits. That’s why your "what notable belts has he won at 140/147" made me laugh. Because belts don’t mean **** all. And even when they’re supposed to, they’re still blocked off from some fighters due to promotional issues/beefs. I mean, who exactly can Rios win a belt off? WBA’s and WBC’s Garcia? Nope he’s with Golden Boy. WBO’s JMM? Maybe, but unlikely seeing as though JMM is only interested in Pacquiao these days. Or how about the IBF’s Peterson? The drug-cheat that shouldn’t even be holding a title.

I’ll say it again, belts don’t mean ****. As bad as it may sound, Rios doesn’t need to win one to show he’s in the same talent pool as Khan, Garcia, Matthysse, Peterson, Ortiz, etc.

Because the fix is in, and they're doing it right before our very eyes. Like they've done every single time before.
