Pac has become somewhat overrated lately w/ppl picking him over Duran and Whitaker.... but I think he'd have done in Tszyu. Pac TKO 10.
Tszyu had a vicious right hand and had patience. Check out how he weathered Judahs assault and bam!. He is very solid at this weight. PAc can overpower slick boxers but a well schooled fighter with a murderous right hand, thats tough. The best right hand in boxing history belongs to Stevenson, Tszyu is up there
Two of my favorite fighting each other it wuld have been difficult to watch.I think Tszyu is more dangerous than Hatton and Cotto combined.Tszyu by TKO.
Wow...what a fight that would have been...thanks for making this thread! I don't know about this fight. Tszyu was the master of cutting off the ring and was a very disciplined fighter...very smart. on the other hand, Pac is a beast at 140 and looked like a killer against Hatton. i don't think anyone can beat this version of Pac if he is 100% prepared and is 100% healthy at 140lbs. So I'm guessing Pac via 12 round UD.
Ahh theres many powerful right hands. at 140 Tszyu comes to mind, Jackson is wicked as well. Hes got dynamite in both hands, hes there to be hit though and anytime you have a fighter on Mannys level, that gives him a chance.
The best right hand in boxings HISTORY belongs to stevenson, its nuclear. Theres no debate if you were around in the late 70s..and early 80's
I just can't shake the problems Manny had with Marquez, who I think is not as good as Zoo. Zoo has more power, stronger and is every bit as intelligent as Marquez. Zoo also did very well against speedy southpaws (Judah, Mitchell). On the other side of the coin, Manny is also better than both of those fighters. He is wildly unpredictable when he comes in, and I think Zoo might have problems timing him. But if someone can, it's Zoo because he made up for his lack of speed with timing and precision punching. He also had a lethal right. I think there are too many variables in this fight to really predict who would win.
Would have been very competitive, Tszyu did well against south paws and guys with speed. My opinion is pac is better p4p, head to head i'd give it to Tszyu.. but then again it seems Pac keeps on getting better than we can predict.. I'll see how he does against Mayweather.
Randall Bailey has to be up there when anyone considers the best P4P right hand. Hearns' was awesome and so was Stevenson's. Randall Bailey, though, has an absolutely killer straight right. Hearns and Stevenson were much more complete boxers than Bailey. Bailey has made a career out of that one single punch.
But the door swings both ways if your going to reason that way, like I can easily mention Zoo losing to Vince Phillips and struggling in a very close fight with Oktay Urkal and even Zoo winning a controversial decision against Hector Lopez, though the Lopez fight was early in his career.
