in both cases, that was a KT well past his prime. KT spent far too long as an amateur, and was only at his best for a very short period after he turned pro.

Oh hell no. KT had a TON more pop than Cotto, regardless of weight. Not even comparable.

:nono Maybe at 140,but at 147 Id take Cotto by a late stoppage in a very tough fight.

Tszyu's strengths are exactly what Manny was vulnerable too.

    Rights hands.

Quite simply stylistic nightmare + best ever opponent = loss for Manny.

It isn't even up for dispute. Tszyu is a quicker, more skilled fighter than JMM with a far better defence. The extra power is only a bonus!

Best ever opponent huh?? Morales,Marquez,Barrera were better than Tszyu, and Id say that Cotto was on par with Kostya. I wont count Oscar since he was weight drained. Even though Hatton beat Kostya I wont count him either since Kostya was at the end.

tszyu isn't faster or more skilled than marquez.
tszyu is a strong fighter who uses his left as a range finder to lead in with his right and i'm amazed so many people think tszyu is a foil for pacman.

i'm australian and i'd pick pac over tszyu anyday.

Stevenson never turned pro, so his talent is all speculation. A great amateur like Stevenson cant be compared to an atg like Hearns.

I would be pick tszyu by late stoppage.....he would be down on the cards, but slowly he would wear manny down.....and manny would get stopped after a accumilation of punishment....

I know i'm the minority opinion but I would pick pacquiao to beat chavez....chavez comes forward and eats punches all night from manny...

To be fair... Tszyu was indeed faster than Marquez, and of course more powerful. But not quite as skilled overall as JMM, and overall... I dont see Tszyu having the HEART to deal with Manny in the long run.

It looks like Tszyu has become one of the most overrated fighters on ESB.

Indeed. He never beat a truly great fighter, and he never saw anything remotely close to Manny. And no... fragile Zab doesnt count.
