With all due respect. I dont think Qrtiz is on Pac's level....YET... Lets see Ortiz fight some one you can gauge him first. Some one that will make him dig deep. See where his heart is.He's got the skills...I never said that pac can beat Margarito,Paul Williams etc. I think he can beat the smaller WW though.. I am not a Pac Fan that think he is God Pac does have limitaions and I am man enough to admit it

In terms of resume and legacy, Ortiz is not even on Manny's planet, but people need to put Boxing in perspective.

When Manny Pacquiao and Victor Ortiz step in the ring, it isn't past achievement's that determines the action, it's how the two perform on the night.

When Pacquiao beat Barrera, and Morales, he wasn't fighting opposition that was fresh, or 6'9 with knockout power at 140. I've said it once, and I'll say it again, Pacquiao has never fought at 140lb, and is unproven at 135. In reality, Pacquiao would get the benefit of the doubt with me here if he had established himself at the weight, fighting either Campbell or Marquez. I won't blame Pacquiao for taking the money fight with Oscar, however. No problems ther.

Ultimately, Pacquiao may be the better fighter overall, but he has size and power to deal with at 140. Ortiz will be throwing a lot of shots, and his KO ratio suggests that he is heavy handed. Pacquiao has never fought at 140, and it could well be that Ortiz is to green for Pac at the moment, but I see it as being a highly competitive affair. I don't forsee Manny taking punches from the heavy hitters at 140 or above.

Oritz KOing Pac? Didn't Roach said that you get $1000 bonus if you take down pac at sparring. And none have done it. Ortiz already said that he can't get to Pac.

Oh **** wait this is a fantasy match up for Pac again!? I pick Oritz TKO1 Pac with mercy. I love how fantasy match up against Pac makes him lose 100%.

come on, Ortiz needs to fight somebody like Tim Bradley first. We can see how he fairs.... Then maybe holt or torres.

Sparring has no baring on the result here.

People are assuming Pacquiao performs well at 140, and can take a good punch at the weight. We haven't even seen him take a good punch at 135.

I would favor any puncher with the hand speed of Ortiz to knock Pacquiao out at 140+

no offense to you sir, but you are holding on too tight, you tried to legitimatize the match-up between DLH/Pac disregarding the size, then afterwards discredit the win as much as possible, Ortiz has said himself Pacquiao was too much in sparring, Ortiz is still a prospect, very young at 21 and green, not to mention a southpaw which also favors Pacman, and you are saying Ortiz beats Pacman currently :-(

I know you feel bitter because of the JMM rematch but geez give Pacquiao a little something this is his moment.

It would be a shame if a novice like Ortiz were to dominate Pac during sparing at age 19-20 but from my understanding Ortiz held his own.
