IMO Pacman's best weight. I would give him a shot here, but Gomez hit even harder than Pacman. He stopped every 122lb fighter he fought. Then again, Pacman stopped every 122lb fighter he ever fought as well.

I will go with Gomez by stoppage, but Pacman could very well stop him late since he brings relentless power and speed throughout an entire fight.

Gomez is a class above at 122; like Paciquao would be at 130. Slightly off topic; My all-time 122lbers:

At 122 PAc could have been the best ever. Ive watched the Lebwadha and Julio fight at 122, Lucero. Never have I seen speed and power in a package. He dominated them and its almost like these guys have never seen anything like him. The two weeks notice and the fight against Lebwada was sensational. Against Julio who was even money at the time, he just demoralized him I think Bobby Czyz was commentating and he was just in awe.. Lucero was another one...it got so bad that the fight became a comedy night for the HBO crew.

His first 1st with MAb was at 126 (his first at the weight) still have the leftover of that dynamo.... these times I think were his prime and his best weight.
Some would say 126 but I beg to differ. 122 was it..I think i saw him against a Thai champ not sure whats his name..his punch literally lifted the guy of the ground!!. He was just a beast. His left straight was just scintillating.

Anyway. Pac was the best Ive seen at 122! He Koed everyone and no one got close

KG I agree with you... been watching old Pac fights at 122 and 126.. The competition he beat and how he beat people at 122 makes me sure this is his best weight. I mean he totally demolished everyone at this weight. He was just faster and stronger abit of this peak reached MAB in their first fight (although its at 126, first one at that weight)..After this I think PAC has been albeit slowly on the other side of the mountain
