Bob Arum through HBO Sport Pres. Ross Greenburg apparently sent Mayweather a contract. Pac is waiting for an executed contract to finalize the fight.

"Ive said everything that i can say about it, but Floyd has to agree to fight me" - Pac.

"Id like to fight every five to eight months" - Pac

"Without the fans, Manny Pacquiao would not be Manny Paquiao and Floyd Mayweather would not be Floyd Mayweather" - Pac

"Im still waiting for the signature on the contract. Its Bob Arums desicion who im going to fight" - Pac

    the scene of boxing.

My question is what are the specs. on the drug testing?

Floyd is waiting for Pac to show signs of slipping, or until he's battle worn. Pac is too hot right now and Floyd fears losing his 0. I dont buy that whole PED story. Its just a roadblock and a mental game that Floyd wants to use to throw Pac off.

But I also think he has too many problems to contemplate fighting some1 of Manny's class at the moment

Right now who knows. I think he is avoiding Pac. If he was so excited to face him, he would of signed already

he's afraid of what he knows will come: being brutally knocked out and physicallly humiliated and emasculated by MANNY PACQUIAO. he can't deal with this reality which haunts him day and night.

Pacquiao lied about agreeing to all his demands.
    Pacquiao holding the fight up.
    Both times.

right now, Floyd needs to deal with his own problems.

Hard to set a fight date and contract, when floyd doesn't know what the future brings.

maybe its a blessing in disguise..who knows.

I personally think the fight willnhappen some time next year maybe later in 2011, but let's be be honest neither man is scared to face the other it's just been very cleverly hyped and hyped because after the mayweather vs paquiao fight what is left for either man winner or loser, after the fight there is nothing left for the winner or loser except retirement so I say there will be more hyping the fight after pac-man wins against margarito maybe 1 more fight each and then the big one mayweather-PAC.

And the excuses begin for the inevitible schooling that Mayweather will dish out to Pacquiao when they fight.

The fact that Mayweather came up with this steroids story shows you that he doesn't want it. Pac has only gained 12 pounds since beating Barrera 6.5 years ago, that's less than 2 pounds a year, he's just stopped cutting before fights. The issue here is that Floyd doesn't like to fight and Pacquiao does like to fight, so Floyd just needs to be pressured into it, which I believe he will be. Either way I would guess a Mayweather UD, even though I'd want a Pac KO.

if floyd were as confident in his skills as you are, the fight would have happend by now. floyd will totally fall apart under the seige that Pacquiao is going to assault him with. he knows it, his father knows it, this is why the fight hasn't happened. floyd is not able to overcome his fear of being brutally knocked out. a 38 yr old Mosley came close, Pac will get the job done.
