You don't see it as odd that it comes out right after the cotto fight is signed? When floyd was telling the world that pac turned down his offer, you would think that this would have come up. It didn't and the reason it didn't is what if floyd agreed to it?

Bottomline is if it was a real offer arum would have been screaming from the rooftop that floyd turned it down.

    Did you read the article?

The possibility of a Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather fight in May wasn't squashed, according to Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz, until today, when Mayweather announced that he'd be taking on Miguel Cotto on May 5 in Las Vegas.

"At no time did Manny duck this fight," said Koncz, who admitted that he and Mayweather had agreed not to litigate this issue in the media. But the adviser felt compelled to answer Mayweather's "ducking" allegations.

    Void is void.

    this sounds like B.S.

did anyone catch the 50mil guarantee part? He keeps talking about the 55/45 which everyone is hanging onto but it sounds like they offered that along with Floyd taking 50mil and doing the fight with just Top Rank. Maybe thats why he turned it down if thats the case

If ya read the article he only felt compelled to divulge details after Floyd said Pac was ducking. So no, it's not at all odd for him to refute statements that aren't entirely accurate. In fact I would say that be part of Koncz's job description, wouldn't ya think?...to set the record straight every time Tweeter-queen goes on a Pac-bashing rampage as he's apt to do everytime he has a fight coming up. And that offer was made last week...so Floyd had a full week to consider it. If Koncz is making this up as you're insinuating, then let FLoyd come out and say it. Until then since he was the guy Floyd was talking to, his word is as credible as Floyd's.

The real bottom-line here is that there were talks going on. Informal as they may be, Floyd gave a hardline offer and passed on 2 very fair compromises. In fact, according Koncz he never even considered them. That's the underlying issue---Floyd willingly priced himself out.

So I guess mayweather only started talking after cotto signed? That is also a load of sh*t. If it was done to rebute what floyd was saying they would have pointed it out some time ago. I'm sure that Mayweather heard about this offer just like we did.

Manny punked out, and now arum and the rest of team pac will work overtime maling it seem like they wanted the fight.

Bottomline is team pac made it clear they wanted november, arum said "absolutly not" when asked if floyd would be pac's next fight. With their intentions already known you clowns still want to put this on floyd.

Yep....RIGHT ON QUE!!! I posted about two weeks ago, if FMJ annouces his opponent before Pacquiao does....then watch all the Boxing Forum LIGHT-UP with:

"Well Pacquiao had agreed on this" - "Pacquiao said ok" - "Pacquiao was ready" BLAH BLAH BLAH. HATERS ARE RIGHT ON QUE!!!! The fact that Cotto leaves TOP RANK and within' 10 days has a signed sealed delivered deal to fight FMJ, tells you all you need to know about Arum and Team Pacquiao. It speaks volumes about the Character of De La Hoya, FMJ and now Cotto to eventually WAKE THE **** UP and tell Arum to ****-OFF!!! Apparently Pacquiao is as Blind as his fans are.

Lol, silly *****...Now Koncz's statements are **** because he didn't point it out at some prior date? If I remember correctly, that 50/50 offer has been out there since Tweeter-thug first got on the rag. This new offer is just cherry on the cake, another revelation that Pac was willing to compromise to get Floyd to sign on the dotted line. Floyd thinks he's easy work than prove it in the ring and earn that lion's share. Yet according to your twisted logic, "Pac punked out".

So gtfo with your bottomlinbes, obviously ydksabout it. How you gonna say it's "clear" that Pac wants to fight in November when he flatly said to Floyd himself; take the 50/50 and you got a fight. That's right numbnuts, right off the horse's mouth. There's no mention of November in that statement is there?...Yet to you it's clear as day that they're settled in November. HUH? If you got those braincells actually firing that inference was for May and this ESPN article further confirms it. Get those braincells firing even further and you'd see that Arum would have to oblige if they agreed in principle.

I mean really? Pac punked out by trying to work out a compromise? Holy ****, ***** logic is ridiculous. It pretty much amounts to Floyd speaks the truth whereas everyone else is lying. I mean, that's great how you summarily dismiss Koncz's statements when Floyd said himself he was talking to the guy. Did you think they're talking about the SuperBowl?...Fiddy's latest record? Seriously you people are sheep, worse....you're lemmings, you'd follow each other off a cliff.

Then let arum don't agree on that when the time ****ing comes, but now the fact still remains. 55-45 for the winner Floyd ran from it.

Point is they didn't try to work out ****. Arum was claiming they didn't know who to contact two weeks ago. Then as soon as floyd signs another fight team pac comes out of the woodwork with this 55/45 **** after claiming the fight had to be 50/50. Its all damage control, and as long as tools like you are ok with it its going to keep happening.

Agreement to keep it out of the media my ass, your even too stupid to admitt that's bull****. Both sides have walked this **** though the media step by step the entire time.

    ****ing *******s

That was Pacquiaos counter offer? Pathetic. *******s must insist that Pacquiao is hard, tough, and that Floyd is weak and dumb. You mother****ers don't love boxing. You love Pacquiao. White, black, Mexican and other folk nationalities respect boxing. *******s don't. You only care about your knocked out cherry picking hero. **** all of you.
