lol i wonder if Floyd will sign on to this. 10 million is alot of ****ing money! Then again I wonder if Pac agreed to the blood testing in the end. Both demands are ludacris.

BTW, I don't know if that penalty means that Floyd is not given his 2 hours to dehydrate extra if he comes in over on the first try. Alot of people said that in this thread but can you show me where you got that info?

thats also conmparable with Floyd asking Pac to do some blood tests. He has never asked anyone to do those type of tests but why is he asking it now?

Pac's demand is out of line but its not out of line enough to cancel the fight. The same way Floyd's demand for the tests was out of line but its not out of line enough to cancel the fight.

they should find a compromise in both cases. Maybe Floyd should agree to the 10 million only if he is allowed the 2 hours extra to lose the weight, something that people say he isn't (source?)

and Pac should agree to a blood test but only on specific dates that he feels fit well into his training schedule.

Fair doos. I can only assume Roach doesn't want a repeat of the JMM scenario, even though PBF would make 147 easily imo. He asked Oscar to pay 1mil but had Oscar ever came in over an agreed limit? (I'm honestly not sure).

They'll both make 147, I'm 99% sure of that but could you imagine a 1mil per pound clause then either of them come in 3lbs heavier? That would be a huge '**** you' to their opponent, the fans and the boxing world.

That's not asking so much since everybody know Floyd can easily make 147. It's there as a safeguard for some ***** move which Floyd is well known for.

Floyd showed in his last fight that he has scant regard for the rules by coming in at 146lbs instead of the agreed catchweight of 144lbs.

The fine of $300k per pound was too easily affordable for him, so this figure of $10million that has been set by Team Pac is a way of ensuring Floyd takes the rules seriously this time.

Floyd has shown he is a moneyhungry ******* who cares little for his legacy, so does anyone truly believe that a title being up for grabs is enough incentive for Floyd to come in at the correct weight?

I most certainly don't - Floyd is all about the money, Manny is about the legacy.

Much respect to Manny for making this fight about legacy, instead of caving in to the $$$ like so many of Floyd's other opponents.

:rofl:rofl:rofl No. They're trying to prevent Mayweather from going over the limit. And if Manny's test comes positive Manny is allowed to take all of Mayweather's possession, but hey Manny can't do that since Mayweather probably still some money to the IRS. :rofl:rofl:rofl Just kidding Flodettes.

Anyway, the 10 million penalty works both ways! IF Pacquiao weighs more than the weight limit he'll have to pay 10 million as well so what's the problem?:deal I thought Pacquiao is the same size as Mayweather?

LMAO at all the Floydettes. Floyd asks for an olympic style testing for pac even though he already passed the official drug test and now Pac demands something, they cry foul.

Why not? All this extra bs im not caught up in, all i want is a clean fight, @ the welterweight limit is all.
If this is to be the biggest fight in boxing history, then I do think both fighters whould b randomly screened, has nothing to do with Pac. Its just for the sake of the sport, so when people look back @ this fight there wont b any asterick associated with it.
Even though its a big money fight, 10million dollars is ridiculous. If he said 1 mill per pound it would b bad but not so bad, but 10 per pound is crazy. All this extraness is unecessary. If Floyd comes in overweight and Pac doesnt want 2 fight he has the right to cancel the fight. But to get 10mill for 1 pound over weight is ridiculous.

He will not sign on to this, because I highly doubt that team Pac will try to include it. All the major points of the contract have been agreed to. It wouldn't make much sense to add something this major at this point. Mayweather would never agree to it anyway.

Yes you're right, the penalty clause applies to both boxers so no reason to ***** about this demand.

Pacquiao can ask for whatever he likes. However, this would never be agreed upon. And I doubt Pacquiao is going to throw away $40 mill just to collect $10 mill in the remote event that Floyd comes in over 147.

Another thing I dont see how Floyd asking for random drug tests, which would benefit not only both fighters but the sport. People are really faulting Floyd for wanting to make sure both fighters are 100% clean. I would like to think we boxing fans, would like to have the solace that we watched a clean fight. The way some of you are carrying on over the blood test leads me to believe that you rather not know. And you really dont care if any of them are clean or not.
