Fighters have set routines and targets. This is something that takes time to develop. I can't remember who it was that bitched about his opponent not making weight and he missed it his next fight by 5 pounds? I think what worked for him before his two year layoff failed him when he came back. $600K is a lot of money. I really doubt Floyd wanted to lose that instead of two pounds. He already had the size advantage.

Fug Pac. If I was Floyd I wouldn't sign that contract. That is a bunch of bs. What is the difference if Floyd comes in a pound heavier? That will make no difference at all. Floyd don't need that catchweight clown. What a joke.

And yet you feel Olympic style drug testing isn't idiotic based on rumors with no real validity? PAC is doing what Floyd and his camp are doing.....mental war fare....pre fight battles. $10 Mill seems far fetched but it could be true..afterall...the drug testing Floyd wants for PAC is true.

if floyd can ridiculously demand olympic style drug testing which was never done before in pro boxing, then i can see no problem why pac can't ask for that penalty. it's all fair.

Well if it was around, say 1 million dollars, Mayweather may feel compelled just to pay the penalty. When you consider the amount of money that he is slated to make in this fight, Team Pac is clearly attempting to come of with a high enough figure to assure that Floyd won't be pulling the same underhanded tactic that he used against JMM.

Mayweather wont have a problem making weight, so it doesnt even really matter if it's 100m per pound. The thing is if you make the price cheap, mayweather would take that penalty and come in overweight like he did with marquez, so he can get an advantage.

the difference is he would be a light middle and is doing the same move he does against jmm.

of course he did not plan going in over the 144 agreed weight but if we will look at the circumstance, jmm was already in an unfair situation moving up 9 pounds while floyd just shedding 3. in the end, marquez will fight at a cacthweight while floyd ignoring it by just paying to add more advantages from all the other advantages he already had.

dude if you can make it will you be scared?!

if you are renting a house and there is a clause in the contract that you will pay 1000usd per day of delay of payment if you know you can pay for the monthly bill will you get worried about the penalty?!

pac is just trying to avoid what he did to jmm. simple as that!

only people who are not sure they will honor the commitment should be worried

If Void is not trying to cheat his way on the scales again... he should just agree into this.
