good move. floyd has to live by the terms he agrees to. if you lie and breeak the contract, a penalty must be applied.

it's about time this spoiled lil runt plays by the rules.

Just like Pac only had one catchweight fight and people act like half of his fights were at a catchweight.

Fair enough but, as you said, Floyd won't come in overweight for the fight. Why would he?

if its for a welterweight title, and floyd comes in overweight hes either

    a) unproffesional
    b)scared
    c) wants to **** with everyone and set the agenda of him being in control
    d)all of the above

i cant see him coming in overweight and if he does and doesnt try to lose it he should forfeit a considerable percentage of his money

Whats the problem? All he has to do is come in on weight and even if he doesn't, Mayweather has enough money.

Perfectly reasonable demand. It will make sure Floyd comes in at weight, a weight he should have NO trouble hitting.

what difference does it make how much the penalty is? If floyds going to make weight and not cheat then it doesnt matter....

Considering many fighters seriously consider canceling fights when the other fighter fails to make weight then i see this as a decent offer to a guy who pulled the trick last fight.

$1-2 million per lb = reasonable
$10 million = no so much

What's reasonable is that a fighter comes in on the weight. They should just **** these stupid demands and make it clear they will not fight if Floyd comes in overweight.

its about time? other that the jmm fight can u name more in which he didnt follow the rules? see how ******ed u sound?
as for the 10 million dollar penalty, could be 20 million and i would feel the same, pbf should weigh 147 anyways but I would have more respect for pac if he just cancled the fight if pbf didnt make weight

When has Floyd ever weighed over 147 pounds for a welterweight fight? Never.

    Moot point.

What's reasonable is that if you come in over weight you forfeit the fight.

You should never coem in over weight. He has 3 months to hit. He's never fought this heavy ever.

He should forfiet his whole purse if he doesn't make weight.

    Same with Pac man.
