Fight is too big to cancel for that reason. Hence the size of the proposed penalty.

LOL, man you guys are pathetic. Pac agreed to an unreasonable demand for a drug test. Now he wants insurance for his hard work and you guys are saying it is unreasonable. That he would protect a huge earning fight is unreasonable? That PBF cheating is OK but the penalty for him cheating is not. LMAO, what a bunch of nuthuggers.

    Pac simply doesnt want to be put in the same position as Castillo put Corrales in;

I.E. Either having to cancel a highly lucrative superfight at the last minute, after months of training too....... or having to compromise and agree to fight an over the weight-limit Floyd to save the (title?)fight,......putting him at a disadvantage.

This is just something to combat Floyd's camps demand to have blood drawn from Pac.

If it applies to both men how is this to Pac's advantage? I think they see Floyd chose to just pay for an advantage last time out.

Arent you one of the idiots that keeps saying that fraud is a small welter,if so he shouldnt have any problem making weight.

Hes just making sure that fraud doesnt pull the same stunt that he did with JMM and if it was a small fine there was a risk he would do it anyway and make GBP pay it once again.

that being said there shouldnt be any fine,it simply should be make weight or no fight.

So Manny should train his ass off only to pull out of a fight if Floyd comes in a pound over huh? Imagine if Marquez had of walked off....

Floyd must come in on the weight to be able to fight for the title anyway.

If i was Manny i would hope he comes in a pound or two over.$10 million good reasons why :rofl:rofl

Ther is no ****ing way in hell a fighter at this level would pull out due to an opponents failure to make the weight the day before what is being touted as the fight of the decade. Both fighters will make the weight so not a big ask unless they are willing to pay the piper:good

Don't trust a word that comes out of the mouths of Franklin Gacal or Michael Koncz. Both of them are shills who just invent **** for their own benefit, and both of them have repeatedly said things to the press that have turned out to be false.

I should add...I don't see Mayweather coming in over 147 at all. He's pretty natural at 146 I think. Floyd has never been uncomfortable making WW limit that I know of and I doubt ever intended to get a catch weight. He was probably just okay with shelling out the penalty money from the moment it was put into a contract.

:good As you say mate, both have plenty of time to make the weight limit so this really should not be a factor. Didn't Manny supposedly insist on a similar clause prior to his fight with Cotto? Or was that just bs? No matter, i'm sure both men will "Weigh-in" for the biggest fight of their careers without any problems.

This is a totally reasonable clause, only reason it hasnt happened before is because Floyd held the bargaining power.
Face it, Floyd exhibits bitchlike behaviour and it was completely shameful to him and especially to boxing that he flouted the weight limit vs Marquez to a boxer that was miles smaller than him anyway.

Money talks to Floyd, this penalty is even to both fighters and Floyd has nothing to be concerned about unless he was trying another ***** move against the smaller fighter.

I think a very rough 33% of their probable fight fee is totally fair for cheating.

Basically this is just a highly overrated fighter (Pacq) trying to insure and hold ground in a world of elite fighters- where he does not belong. Pacq is simply not good enough or deserving to be in a fight of this caliber.

You're right Pimp C, $10m child please, it should be $30m. $25m is forfeiting his purse and the extra $5m for wasting everyone's time.
